My friend bought a used fridge. It was delivered, she plugged it up and left on Sat errands...came home to find horrible odor the caused her daughter to have an asthma attack and ran them out of their home. She called the Fire Dept, who came to check for the cause and the Firefighters told her it appeared to be a freon leak and the coils were filthy. My friend was advised by the Fire Dept not to spend the night in her home until the fridge could be removed. When she called Uncle Joes, the store employee was rude. The man did come and pick it up, but was extremely rude. At this writing, she is out $150 and without a fridge, and her daughters asthma caused a trip to the dr. That is NO way to do business....new OR used.

I purchased a fridge from this company and it has been problems after problems. First when I bought the fridge they did not tell me the full warranty. Only once the fridge was delivered did they say they do not cover the water or ice maker. I promptly asked for my money back since this was not disclosed to me and he said he would fix it if it didnt worked. For over a month (my warranty is now expired) I have harrassed the owner to come fix the fridge. He has stood me up over a dozen times and often turned his phone off for a day or two (which I assume was to avoid me). It appears as if they stand you up until your warranty is no longer valid! Please do not shop at this store.

Used appliances is all Uncle Joes has, so expect there might be some problems with the cheapest thing they have in the store. I brought my old broken dryer from home and they gave me cash off the bill for my new dryer. More than the scrap yard would have paid me. I took my new 1981 dryer home, plugged it in and no go. Next business day I brought my dryer back to, Uncle Joes swapped it out and they told me I should have called. That they would have came out to my house no charge. Brought my second dryer home and nothing. Uncle Joes came out that day with a third dryer. They are a fare bunch of guys only trying to flip some appliances for a good price

My husband and I bought 3 different appliances from this man at his other store on Old County Home Rd.and all 3 broke within first day! The washer had a broke tub that you could not see and it flooded the house. He said that he checked it before he sold it to us, but if he had, he would have seen that it spilled all the water into floor and did not hold it. The dryer we bought had element problem, and the stove also had some kind of heating element switch board type deal that went bad and could not be replaced. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!

Great looking used appliances for those on a budget. Joes Used Appliances was the cleanest used appliance store Ive ever had the pleasure of doing business with. The staff was friendly and professional with great service and fair prices then others I have visited. Bought a used Kenmore Refrigerator and it came with a thirty day warranty. It was running with frozen ice tray in the freezer. Still cold inside the refrigerator and freezer after the hour drive back home.

I would give them two thumbs down, I have spent the last three days trying to buy a washing machine pump from them... Only to make two trips to their shop after being told they would be there all day and when I get there no one is anywhere around and when you call them on the phone... They dont answer or call you back. Shotty Shotty way to run a business and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL !!!!

It has been several years since I bought from Uncle Joes, but the washer and dryer I bought were reliable and I sold them two years later for what I paid for them. I will be returning to Uncle Joes in the next several weeks and know that I will be dealing with a fair and reputable merchant if its the same owner.

The lady that answered the phone was rude & hateful and then when we showed up to sale a new washer & dryer she wouldnt even come look at them. Thats not how you treat customers!!
