Ive heard wonderful things about your store but I am curious about the name. My understanding is that dancing bears were trained for centuries in Europe by making a bear stand, while music was played, on a metal floor that was heated so that the agonized animal shifted its feet. The bear was thus trained so that, whenever the music was played, the bear would shifting its feet. Is this true, and if so, why would anyone name a store, especially a toy store, "Dancing Bear?"

The staff is always friendly and helpful. Its well laid out and they have pretty much every popular toy you can think of. Prices tend to be on the higher side and youll likely find better deals at the big box department store, but they stand out because they do a good job of hosting events for kids and having a good variety of items. My kids love this place.

This is a wonderful toy store. A broad selection, nice layout, incredibly helpful and enthusiastic staff, and interesting merchandise Ive not seen elsewhere (as well as many of the mainstays I expected). A great place to shop for kids... and some adults.

Wow. The new location is wonderful. Lots of easy parking, The stores interior is warm, inviting and spacious. Dancing Bear Toys always has a huge selection and the folks are very friendly. I really enjoy time there with my kids.

This place is great. Their new location, while oddly fitted into an old Hooters (which is even stranger if you ever went there back then), is bigger and better. The people are friendly and the kids can try out many of the toys.

Staff is very helpful and toy selection is terrific! So many toys that are unique and you cant find at WAL-Mart or Toys R Us. (And who wants to go to WAL-Mart?!) Will be doing some Christmas shopping here!

Great selection of toys and games and its always good to frequent a local small business. However, its difficult to justify paying twice as much for an item there compared to the same item at Target.

Great independent toy store. Wasnt huge, but had a decent selection of toys. The employees were extremely nice and helpful. There was also a bar to test play with toys.
