Really good service!!! I was going to get my daughter a charm braclet and a charm, we asked and they said"well it is near the checkout desk" and then, we hot a present for my daughters freind. We got on and we went to check out... They said"would you like us to wrap the present,I said"ok how much would it be? Its free!!they said. You even get to choose the pattern of wrapping paper!!! Thanks whisle stop for the excellent service and great staff!!!!!

Go in with a list otherwise, you will get sidetracked like a train on a wrong track, so easy to do. Take the kids in but they dont have to shop, there is enough to keep them happy just playing with the trains on display! They wont want to leave, keep them looking up at the train and you will make it right past that strategically placed cart of little items that kids are gonna beg for!!! Hahaha, two can play this game, Whistle Stop!

Whistle Stop is a wonderful toy and hobby store. Weve been buying Pinewood Derby and train supplies here for many years. Purchased rocket supplies here for our boys for years, and now we buy them for THEIR boys! We recently added a granddaughter to the mix. The supply of Madame Alexander dolls and Melissa & Doug toys is excellent. Whistle Stop has a great storewide sale on Thanksgiving weekend. Dont miss it!

Nice local gem to discover. There is a great assortment of puzzles, models, games, etc. They have gifts for children of all ages, Im a large child myself. A huge perk is they offer free gift wrapping, which helps score some brownie points instead of just giving someone the gift in the plastic bag from the store.

This place is a toy lovers dream. I dont think there is a toy/train store better than this anywhere in the world. The staff is amazing, they know their products. You will find every level, age and interest of toy here. Models, Art supplies, Puzzles, Trains, games, educational and unique gifts for any age.

I just bought my nieces doll from there and the customer service was fantastic as well as the gift wrapping. I tried to tip and she refused and told me to give it to the kids. This is why small, local, family ran gems need our business. So we can keep going back.

Loved this store! My husband and I with our children just had so much fun looking around. They have toys for all ages. Science kits, arts and crafts, stuffed animals, model kit stuff, 3d puzzles and so much more... We cant wait to go back for holiday shopping.

Love this place I build Gundam models and other then ordering them online which gets super expensive this is the only place in metro Detroit that carries them. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My family has been going here since it opened.
