I needed help comparing headphone quality in the electronic department, the first employee I stopped to ask clearly didnt listen to the question I asked nor did she care to answer me. Her repeated response to "what ones have better sound quality" was "I dont play video games" as if that had anything to do with headphones .. Next she got the employee who was head of electronics and he clearly was annoyed that he had to leave his break to help me. Even made a point to bring it up that he does get a break as if I was burden for needing help. He proceeded to say that the best ones would be the ones with the highest price and walked away before I could even ask any other questions. Then as I was already starting to get frustrated with the lack of care these people have for their job the first employee came back up to me specifically to argue with me that it is not in their job description to know the difference in the products .. She literally argued with me to the point that I just put everything down and walked right out of the store without a single purchase.. Ive never in my life been to a store with such rude careless and unintelligent employees and I will never go back there if it were the last Walmart on this planet. They should be ashamed

Walmart has almost everything you would ever need . I love the new look. No more of not being able to get to an item because they were waxing the tiles. I found myself arguing with the manager of an particular area . I was told to wait a certain amount of time for the wax to dry. So of course I looked around Walmart for anything else I might need, to take up the time. Well I came back to this area. They were waxing AGAIN! ! So I had gotten very upset about this. I had raised my voice on this matter to this same worker and he said Ill get my manager . So this Manager started by asking me if I knew how much it cost to wax these floors. I said I didnt know nor do I care. Your worker lied to me about the time to come back. So all this time I wasted ! You need to get this item for me. He refused. I left that day feeling upset. But I did come back the next day . As this was the best priced item around and way fresher !

Wal-Mart is just way too crowded and crazy to shop. Also, it is not convenient for just popping in and out for one or two things. It is like entering a time zone -- coming out the cart holds at least 15 more things than were on the list! The people are just wall to wall and its impossible to find one polite person saying "excuse me" as your foot is run over or you are pushed into a wall. The past trips have been unsuccessful; the store was very poorly stocked with even the most common items. Hair products that I have always bought (in bulk, because I hate going there) gone from the shelves. OH, and I would have given Wal-Mart 2 stars if this hadnt happened: two managers were discussing the empty places on the shelves, COMPLETELY OBVIOUS to the customers trying to get around them. Unbelievable... We are going to Target from now on.

This store has only one machine of each for deposit returns. For a store of its size that does this much business, thats incredibly cheap of them. Their machines are frequently down and they dont seem to care much about that. Its like theyd rather charge you the deposit and pocket them themselves. I may hate New Yorks loopy deposit laws, but this is ridiculous. For a while, the machines were kept outdoors. It was almost sad seeing people wait in line in the winter with garbage bags full of empties. The store itself is fairly dingy, and this is especially noticeable around the grocery/fresh foods area (defnitely not a good sign). The employees in general seem to be rude and unfriendly, as if they really despise working here. I know its Wal-Mart, but this place in general is worse than the other ones Ive been to.

Even by Walmarts low standards, this store leaves a lot to be desired. Even in the early evenings, aisles are often crowded with merchandise waiting to be stocked. (I have been to plenty of other Walmarts at which merchandise is brought out as the workers stock it, thus not creating the fire hazard present in this store.) In the latest remodel, the number of self-checkouts was increased, while the number of attended checkouts was decreased, thereby making it even harder to get checked out. Dont even try to print professional-looking photos in the photo department, even if you own the copyright, lest you be accused of copyright infringement.

Unfortunately the vestal store is the worst wm I personally been in yet. I been in Walmart stores in several states. Nicest and best wm store shopping experience was in Oxford Mississippi. Our wm in vestal never has items that are in high demand. Sometimes theres 1, or 2 of the item, but most time theyre stapled shut, or just dented and beat up. People are nice but management for the store inventory could use some help.

Sometimes you can find what you need at a reasonable price. Dont really care for the difference between their online prices and in store prices. It just doesnt make sense why I geta lower price to order online from my phone in the store and pickup the item after an associate gets it off the shelf, or I can get it off the shelf myself and pay a higher price. Go figure.

Around noon today, 1/7/15, I made a special trip from my home 15 miles away. One item I wanted was out of stock on the shelf. Associate Connie, who was working in Health and Beauty at the time, pulled out her machine to check on stock, and found some out back for me. Shes a jewel! Treat her well! Thank you.

As usual, not enough people to man customer service or checkout lines. The Cs line was long & only one gal at the desk. I left & went back later & there was then a second gal. I dont understand why considering Walmart has a reputation for this sort of thing that they dont tell their managers to remedy it.

Surprising found a fountain pen on line I thought was at the local store at a good price and I thought said it was in stock. The staff was cordially helpful and most efficient in determining the pen would need to be delivered from the warehouse. Helped save me from wasting a lit of time there.

An expansive, well-stocked store with staff that is pretty helpful when you ask for it. Ideal for one-stop shopping, although seeking parking closer to the entrance could be a bit tricky during peak hours. However, for the one-stop convenience and low prices, this place is worth driving to.

They are remodeling this is fine... I have never in my life seen a bathroom so dirty. The paper towels to dry your hands were on the dirty baby changing table... I will say my cashier was uber friendly witch is a surprise sense they always seem to hate there life and or job..
