Quick Review: THE worst customer service Ive ever encountered. Take your business elsewhere; these folks will rob you. Details: I ordered $1200 worth of champagne through this companys website. The web portal processed my order in so far as it took $1200 out of my account, but never produced an order to be filled on the merchants end. When I called to ask that the transaction be canceled or that the order be shipped manually, I was treated rudely and told me that there was no order. When I presented evidence that the money had in fact been debited from my bank account, and received by Grand Wine Cellar, I was called a liar and "stupid." In subsequent calls I was denied the opportunity to talk to anyone who might have a familiarity with the web server or with accounts receivable so that the transaction may be reversed, and future episodes prevented. Instead, because my calls were recognizable by the area code and phone number, it became routine for the staff members at Grand Wine Cellar to hang up on me as my calls arrived. I have now filed a police report in my home city, and asked that charges be brought forth against the ownership group. Hopefully, this results in an arrest. These people are criminals. I have also written various regulatory agencies suggesting that New York State no longer allow these folks to possess a liquor license which enables them to sell wine over the Internet. I strongly suggest avoiding this business at all costs.
