This business literally stole my money! NEVER ORDER ONLINE FROM THIS BUSINESS! This started in November of 2014 when I ordered two bottles of wine totaling about $200 as a Christmas present for my brother to be shipped to Nevada. I received a UPS Ground notice that it was being shipped and thought nothing of it. In November of 2015 I asked my brother about the wines he received the prior year. He informed me that he never received the wine. I went back to my emails and checked the shipping slip and sure enough it was never actually sent. At this point I thought it was an honest mistake so I call the store. Initially they were friendly and said that it never was shipped and that they would look into it and give me a call back. When I didnt receive a call back with in a week I called again. They said the same thing. This repeated for about EIGHT weeks with never receiving a call back. Finally in January of 2016 he confirmed he couldnt find the order but would be nice enough to send out two more bottles with an additional $50 price tag on it. I was relieved and gave him the information about the two new bottles of wine. Again, I thought the sale was done and assumed the bottles would be shipped. I was wrong. The beginning of September 2016 I ask my brother if hes received the bottles yet, he informs me he hasnt so I called the store. I get the same response "Ill look into it and get back to you." I never received a call back and now I think hes screening my calls because Ive been calling for two weeks and it goes to voicemail every time. I leave messages and still havent had anyone pick up the phone or return my calls. Every call Ive made has been professional giving him the benefit of the doubt, all my messages are asking for an update on the order and professional. So not only have I paid for the wine in Dec 2014 that they still have sent, but now they wont even return my calls or pick up the phone.

This review is for the online store. I place an order in June 2016. They notified me that they would hold due to weather risk (heat). I said I was willing to take the liability and they should please ship it ASAP. They agreed. That was July 2016. After a few weeks I sent follow-up e-mails and got no response. Then I went on vacation. In October 2016 I called to get an update. They acted surprised that the wine had never shipped and assured me it would be shipped. No wine ever arrived. In November 2016 I called to get another update. Again they acted surprised. They assured me they would deal with it. They took all my info (even though they have it in their system). Said they would check the warehouse. No wine ever arrived. In December 2016 I called. This time, after explaining my situation, they individual told me theyre very busy right now with the holidays. He said he had lots of people in his store and could not help me right now. I said I was a customer as well, but he said he needed to give preference to customers in store. Said he would call me back. Surprise, surprise, he never did. I had told them if they did not have it in inventory a refund would be fine. They always claimed they would get it to me. This place is a fraud. I worry this is another Premier Cru. Dont order online from these people. I buy lots of wine and have never experienced such games. Maybe their physical store is better.

As a Bay-Area transplant and a self-proclaimed wine-geek, I found myself in heaven when I stumbled into the Wine Connection after recently moving to Westchester. Max (the owner) is super-knowledgable about the wines he stocks (which he hand picks) and always has an eye towards recommended wines with a great price-to-quality ratio. I also love the weekly wine tastings on Saturday!
