The sales women at Pet Food City is extremely friendly and helpful every time I go in to get food and supplies for my cats. She always has time to answer any questions and gives personalized attention to matters even when the store is busy. She even asks about my cats by name! The store is always stocked with many different kinds of foods, including the familiar pet food brands as well as specialty brands such as Iams, Science Diet and even natural foods. The store is open 7 days a week and provides competitive prices. With the convenience of this store being in the neighborhood and the friendliness of the staff, I almost always choose to shop here rather than chain stores.

I am a bargain hunter, and I didnt expect to find the lowest prices on all our dog and cat items (food, collars, shampoo, etc) right down the street. I compared to Amazon, Wal-Mart, and all the larger pet supply chains and have repeatedly been impressed with the prices at Pet Food City. They will always order items they dont have in stock, and they have recommended discount and frequent buyer programs for the items I have purchased when they are available. Theyre open 7 days a week which really helps when you run out of cat food on Sunday morning and dont want to pay bodega prices or battle the crowds at Pathmark.

Nice local shop! Picked up a Puppia harness for my Pomeranian. They also carry Weruva brand dog food. Owner is very friendly and very helpful with getting the correct size harness.
