I learned about Sierra cycles about 2 1/2 years ago through a riding buddy. When I checked the place out, I was pleasantly surprised that he has a fully stocked shop, and that he caters to BMX and MTB freeriding. So few shops do nowadays. I had him build me up a custom 26" dirt jumper and he did a great job! This past December I decided to take the plunge and buy my first high end bike- a 2010 Scott Gambler 30. Again Francisco came through again with good advice and better yet, a great price! The bike rides great, and I know I've got a great shop to back me up with tech support. Anything you need is in stock or can be special ordered quickly. Easily the best shop I've dealt with in the past 25 years - including my childhood bike shop in the Bronx. (Sorry Castle Hill, luv ya!) If you're in the market for quality MTB or road for that matter, stop by and show your love (and money) to Sierra Cycles! Jack B.

I, after 20 years of not having a bicycle, decided to buy a bike. The store looks a bit intimidating but everyone in the store was very nice, very helpful and there was no pressure for me to buy anything. They treated me very very kindly and respectfully even though I didnt know anything. I checked prices online and their prices were excellent. They let me test out a few bikes out in the parking lot. They installed a rack on the back of my bike. They showed me how to inflate my tires. They installed the car rack and showed me how to do it. They said that they would do small adjustments for free for as long as I owned the bike. I couldnt have imagined better treatment. There were all kinds of people there; people with kids, more professional riders, this bike shop, even though it is small is perfect for any bicycle needs. Best shop! Just come and see for yourself!

Great Bike shop.. I have used several bike shops in the 10+ years i have been riding. I ride very hard (weekend Warrior) and beat my bike into the ground. I have been exclusively getting my repairs at Sierra Cycles for the last year and 1/2. I like Francisco and his staff for the following reasons. He is a rider himself and knows what you are talking about when i try and explain a certain noise or ticking sound im not familiar with. They treat me right They are very knowledgeable on new equipment that comes into the market and high end bikes. They keep my bike in tip top shape. They get me in and out when i need a quick fix. Bike is always clean when they are finished and work done to my satisfaction. They treat me like a friend and not just another customer. Thats important to me..They are competitively priced. Best shop in Westchester..Gary Ferone

I have been a customer of Sierra Cycles for around four years and I have always been satisfied with the amazing customer service that I have received throughout the years. Francisco, the owner, is a very knowledgeable person and knows everything there is to know about anything bike related. Whenever I need a full tune up, the mechanic, Freddy, and Francisco knew exactly what was wrong with my bike and have always given me my bike back riding even better an when I first got it. I had a crash on a mountain bike trail which caused my fork to crack and when I brought it in. The two year warrantee on the movinlg parts of my bike and lifetime warrantee on its frame allowed me to get it fixed for very little and I was completely satisfied with it after it was completely repaired. I will continue to rely on Sierra Cycles for all of my cycling needs.

Francisco, Azael and the rest of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Sierra Cycles carries top quality bikes and accessories, all at very reasonable prices. Francisco only sells what he himself would use. Azael is a brilliant mechanic who can fix just about anything. At a glance, Sierra Cycles has a very relaxed atmosphere, but underneath this is a store which functions on utmost professionalism. The end result? You go in, feel good, get a sweet bike and walk out happy. And you know that if later you need something, you will not feel nervous about going back. Youll even go back just to see whats new. Francisco understands his customers, no matter what their bike needs are, and will go out of his way to help them with their cycle needs. No store in the area even comes close.

Nice bike shop, both for sales and service. Theyre very good at sticking with a problem until theyve figured it out, and not continuing to charge for it. For example, theyve always given me free cable adjustments after Ive had the bike for a while after a repair/tune-up. I also bought a bike there, and was pleased with their recommendation. I also like their assortment of accessories. The store is not huge, so they only carry products they believe in. If you want huge selection, you might try a bigger store. But if you want a well-chosen selection where you know pretty much every product is good, this is the place for you.

Hands down this is the best bike shop in Westchester. Since buying my bike the guy who owns the shop (Fransisco) has been a gem; they do tuning and quick fixes - all the usual stuff, and at reasonable rates - but Francisco is especially helpful and so knowledgeable about bikes and biking in Westchester in particular. They also rent bikes for super cheap (for the day/week etc) so my city friends can come "upstate" and ride the trails. Also the website has a forum just for us cyclists. I dont want to knock them, but Dannys Cycles just isnt as good or friendly. But honestly, I cant rave highly enough about this place!

The MOST knowledgeable, professional and pleasant bike shop in all of Southern Westchester County. Unlike other local bike shops the owner a.) was on location b.) spent endless time explaining the different price points within each brand c.) Prices were 30% LESS than any other bike store d.) Carried top quality names in stock such as Kona, Santa Cruz, Giant e.) Decided to return and special order a different helmet he did not have in stock and he HAPPILY excepted the return with no questions. f.) Serviced my new bike after I experienced some adjustment issues w no hassle no wait time! A++++++++

I had a great experience with Sierra Cycles. I wanted a bike now that summer is here and I went to a few of the bike stores in the area and didnt feel like I was receiving the type of attention or patientience I needed being a novice. I am so new at this I didnt even realize I was going to need a bike rack for the car or a lock. Francisco gave me the personal attention I needed to feel confident I wasnt over my head. He showed me how to properly set up my new bike, use my bike rack and he even set the combination on my lock. I am still getting used to the gears :) Go to Sierra Cycles!

I stopped by Sierra today for the first time. I was greeted right away by Francisco who was extremely helpful and polite. I stopped in to buy a Kryptonite cable and replace a broken brake lever on my sons department store BMX bike. After politely explaining that a replacement lever, cable and brake setup would cost about as much as the bike cost new, he dug out a used TekTRO lever and sold it for $10 bucks. This alone makes it my kind of place. He also had just about every Kryponite cable they make so i got to choose one i liked and didnt pay a dollar over retail for it.
