Best German butcher shop west of Aachen. Smoked birds, fish, and mammals (and cheese) of many sorts (even venison), all delicious, as well as ordinary fresh meats (beef, chicken, lamb, pork), and cured meats (bacon, head cheese, Nüßschinken, pâté, Weißwurst, etc.), plus numerous German specialties: breads, candies, jams, mustards, noodles, pickles, … If you have a dog, grab a smoked bone for the hound! The staff is always polite and informed, the prices are good, the drive is worth it. Take a number and stock up.

Super high quality and reasonable prices. They get all their meat from local farmers who treat their animals well, but you dont have to pay those outrageous prices you find at organic/whole foods type markets. I really enjoy the garlic bologna, smoked mozzarella, the munich grills, the chicken sausages, the homemade pretzels, and anything and everyone they make with liver. They really know their stuff, you cant go wrong here.

One of my favorite places to go! Their selection is incredible, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the venison kielbasa, and the brisket burgers and double smoked bacon are the best you will ever have.
