Its time to get crafty at our next event at Little Button Craft. The Little Button Craft Store is nestled right in the heart of the Southwedge neighborhood. This store specializes in local craft goods from various vendors around the area; in fact 95 percent of the store is local-BONUS! Getting a more inside look at local businesses is key to making sure reviews stay fresh. With yarn in hand, Shelby and Stormy lead the way with teaching us how to actually sew something. OMG, I had no idea what the heck I was doing, and thank god Shelby taught us through baby steps. Sewing is extremely difficult at first, but once you find your rhythm, its like riding a bicycle. Lea B. and Jen R. surpassed me in 2 seconds, and by the end of the night they almost had a complete hat!! I on the other hand, had a glove for my thumb. Sewing is relaxing, as time can pass by in a blink of an eye, the wine I am sure helped! With my sewing project still in progress, I decided to just purchase an awesome ham and egg sandwich that someone already sewed together. My friends thought it was pretty cool, of course I told them I made the sandwich. Little Button Craft also offers many introductory classes in sewing, which are more personalized and tailored to your needs. Overall: AWESOME Group Activity, Sewing with Shelby and Stormy, Sewing 101, My Sewing Ham and Egg Sandwich, and my Thumb Glove....I Will Be Back.

Adorable little shop, perfect for just stopping in or seeking out a gift (for someone or for me). I love attending local craft shows, and this little shop lets me buy some of their stuff when there arent shows. I also love the classes that are offered, they make it really easy and accessible for the neighborhood to really gather together.
