Horrible... My mom purchased my computer there as a gift last year and it needed to be repaired or replaced less than 2months later. The geek squad had no idea what was wrong with it, said theyd never seen rippling under the touch screen before but Ive had it less than 2months, I figured wed purchased the extra warranty plan on it but regardless thought that they should have just replaced it then. Not only did they not replace my computer with a new one that night as the screen was warping from underneath but they sent it to Kentucky for almost a month&they were still unable to repair it. They called and you need an appt to drop off, pick up, ask a question, its ridiculous but when we went in for our "appointment" they had no idea why we were there. Plus whether you have an appt or not you still have to just stand there&wait because theres only one person? They couldnt find my computer or the paper work for the repair from when we dropped it off. I saw my computer was sitting on the back counter but there wasnt any paper work with it&I told the guy when he finally came back out from the back without it that it was sitting there. They finally figured out that was it but that it was unrepairable&would have to give me a new one&we said yes thats why were here you called&said I needed to come in to pick up a new one. When we set up that appt time they stated they would have all my stuff transferred on the new one for me when I got there. It wasnt set up, they didnt even have one ready, they had to go hunting to even find one&when they finally did they tried to just hand me a computer, no box, no power cord, no paper work, nothing?? But when you bring it in for your "repair appt" they tell you, you have to bring the original box, all paper work, securities, programs on it&the power cord so I didnt have those things&I lost the extra security I already purchased because they said it was on my old computer so it was gone but again I had it less than 2months. I need a new television but I definitely wont be going to Best Buy in Greece or any Best Buy. The service is horrible, management doesnt know what theyre doing&lack customer service and the geek squad is a joke, they dont know anything and dont know how to fix your computer or even set it up or locate it when its right behind them on their counter. I dont know why they have you fill out paper work but I guess Im glad I did&had my copy or I wouldnt even have a computer. To top it off almost a month later they called to tell me that my computer was back from Kentucky but that it was unrepairable. I said I know I was already there last month...wow... Dont go to Best Buy or the geek squad or buyer beware&be prepared to not have your device for awhile, dont lose your paper work either or you may just be out of your new device all together.

This staff and management are the worst. Worthless. First, I go to buy a cell phone that is pre paid and on sale. Once I asked the employees where it was, the more experienced guy walked away to leave the new girl to help me. I could tell he wanted nothing to do with my simple, small purchase. I then asked her if they could activate the phone. Which is how I knew she was new and he was experienced. She asked him if it was possible to activate the phone or if I could use a best buy computer to do it. He told her to visit a Verizon store. In other words, we want nothing to do with your small purchase. I turned on the phone and it walked me through a very simple activation process I completed myself in a couple of minutes. Im sure the best buy employee knew this. He would just rather not be bothered. So I wander over to the computer section and ask if they have any solid state hard drives in a desktop. Not only does the employee have no clue, but he never heard of m.2. Which is understandable since Suzy Devine was a horrible store manager when I worked for her in Henrietta and would make other employees help us with training answers to cheat our way through. Here you go Suzy Devine. Poor customer service. Employees that have no clue about products. This is one of the worst managed stores I have ever seen. Enjoy the review since I took the time to log in with my real name and email just so you know who this is.

Mobile Dept. Service severely lacking! Went to this store last night (1/16/17) with my wife to upgrade to two new iPhone 7s. Upon arriving the mobile staff were bust watching a video together and didnt notice us. When I walked up to them one of them saw us and asked how we can be helped. I stated we wanted new phones and they asked which service. I said Sprint and the girl who was apparently assigned to Sprint let out an audible "ugh" and said "this will be fun" while rolling her eyes. She clearly didnt want to do her job and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. As we were giving her the information on the account she asked if I was the primary, to which I said no my brother is (family plan). She then visibly cheered up and said she couldnt do anything because it was Sprints new policy to require the primary. I asked for the Manager and he stated it was always the policy (they need to get theyre stories straight). I left there and called my brother and Im a delegate on the account so I can make changes. The Greece staff never checked the computer to find that out for me though, they were too busy apparently. I went to another store and made the purchases with no issues as an account delegate. This store needs customer service training in their mobile department and a work ethic. Or maybe just post when your video viewing times are so we are sure not to bother you.

I have spent a lot of time in the Best Buy due to how close it is, and its been a disappointment. Of the dozens of times Ive been in there I always have trouble finding someone to help me when I need help. Though when all I want is a specific DVD and to get in and out, I will get asked literally by 3 different people for assistance every time. Perhaps its the departments: the camera department is poor. It is common for the displays cameras to not work. Please note thats not just a couple of them, but as many as half or more on a consistent basis. The answer I got when asking why was management just never replaces them. The computer department feels as if its run on commission, which if they are or are not is not the point, It feels that way. Pressure to buy and never terribly willing to help you unless youre looking to by a PC. Comp. Department just seems to have a bad attitude and thats an observation Ive made over 2 years of going there. They also seem to always be out of stuff when Im looking for it. Granted, if its Christmas time obviously they will be short on stuff, but its never around a holiday. The cell phone department also seems to never have enough staff. Just a poor Best Buy with a poor attitude. A small kick in the butt would make a world of a difference there, because the layout and location are great.
