Out of my last 10 visits here, I dont think Ive ever come back with everything on my list, and its not as if Im buying esoteric items. For example, tonight they had zero 12-packs of Canada Dry or Schwepps seltzer. They usually stock both. They did have 3 packs of Vintage. And thats it. They had 4 bottles of Simply Apple juice, but all of them were 3 days past their sell by date. Their staff is either underpaid or mistreated, or at any rate they do a good impression of people that are both. The aisles are too narrow and poorly laid out. Parking on the entrance side of the store is atrocious. And this last one isnt the stores fault (or perhaps it is, due to the poor overall environment), but the customers are generally rude and abrupt. Even me, and Im generally a conscientiously polite guy. Its just that after running around looking for products that dont exist, squeezing by shopping carts, and trying to get the attention of disinterested staff, even the best of us are driven to irritation. I usually drive an extra 10 minutes to the Stop and Shop in Woodbury, even though I live within walking distance of this ShopRite. Id recommend that you do the same.

Horribly laid out!! Part of it is recently renovated but they failed to address the major overcrowding issues. You CANNOT get down a single aisle without having to stop and wait for someone or sometimes multiple people to move their carts because it is so cramped inside. The seafood dept now charges a $1 preparation fee for certain items, which has now lost my business. The Deli section (Appy) moves at a snails pace. Try not to get Charlie. You will be waiting overnight for your deli meat. The produce goes bad within a few days. Ive been in at least 15 different ShopRites and this is probably the worst one.

Great sale prices on groceries. Pharmacy is the best with prices lower than Walgreens and CVS, plus they do not charge for metformin. How cool is that? This store carries Kosher and Halal meats. iScholar brand of stationery is durable and at great price, got 1-inch folders for $1.19. I have not seen folders this durable for this low a price. The lowest sale price of 14 oz Häagen-Dazs ice cream I have seen is $1.97; can be lowered further with store/manufacturer coupons. The produce is alright, but pricier compared to another local grocery store.

Buyer Beware!!! I was shopping here for Thanksgiving dinner and the Turkeys they kept in the cooler had worms crawling on them. Gross!!!! I complained to Seth Greenfield the owner of Greenfields Shop Rite and he did NOTHING about it!!! WTF! and they expect you to keep shopping here? I ended up complaining to Shop Rite corporate who took the issue seriously and called the Department of Health to inspect. Dont waste your time or money here.Terrible service, crowded, unsanitary and over priced compared to

Great selection is even better now since they renovated and expanded the store. Cold cut section can be a long wait though so avoid it if possible. Ordered the Italian food platters for a party once and it came cold even though we asked for warm. At least it tasted good? Very busy even at night but efficient staff.

Shop rite of Plainview is the place to shop for freshness and prices are good. They ran sales on just about everything so you save money and get the benefits of freshness and greatness of any produce.hours are good and location is easy accessible. Over all we are satisfied with the staff as well.

Can get busy but thats to be expected. The produce is fresh and everything is well stocked. Love the new renovations they recently made. Makes my trips here much more pleasant. Staff is very friendly with any needs.

Really nice since the renovation, however sometimes the selection doesnt rise to the same level as the newly reconfigured store. Since they expanded and shrunk the parking lot, parking can be a bit rough.

Much happier with Shoprite. We use to go to Stop n Shop & they never had stock in yogurts or milk. Fresh veggies werent always looking good either. Prices are better in Shoprite too.
