Im in this store all the time but today was the best experience Ive had in thus store yet. I met by Henry at the door who asked if I needed any help, which I did. I was looking for an item that was advised online for a sale price. He was able to assist me in finding what I was looking for but went and got the person who works in that department to help me because of a price difference (I believe his name was Joe). Henry didnt simple say "Ill get someone to help you" like so many places do and you left waiting to see if youll be helped. So anyway these two gentlemen helped me get exactly what I wanted at the price I expected, even though it was an "online only" price. As far as Im concerned these two gentlemen made Home Depot a favorite place to shop for home improvement. HD should be proud to have guys like that working for them and furthermore should reward the members who go above and beyond to satisfy the customer.

I was searching for tile to repair a bathroom floor. I needed a couple 8x8in tile. I had seen some oh Home depots website but wanted to color match in person. I get to the store and dont see a single tile in that size. So i walk over to a man and a woman sitting down at a counter and ask if they have any 8x8in tile.The man proceeds to tell me that they dont carry that size anymore because its been linked to asbestos! The cut/size of the tile has NOTHING to do with weather or not it contains asbestos. There are plenty of 12x12 tiles in the world that contain asbestos and you sell that size just fine. Most manufactures havent used asbestos in 20+ years. So either this guy was that stupid or he was BSing me so he wouldnt have to talk to a customer any longer. Either way its an embarrassment. I was at the store at 8:15pm ish 6/22/17 I hope some one in management over there see this and educates their employees.

If you need some info youd be better off asking a manaquin wearing an orange appron than a Home Depot "ASSociate" ... At least a manaquin wont give you a wrong answer!!!! Im a floor installer and used to install for this store. I probably sent them between $250k-$500k in annual sales. The MANAGER rewarded me by badmouthing me to a customer I sent them. They sold her 220 sqft of the same tile with 7 different dye lots. Then when I sent her back to see if they had enough of one dye lot the MANAGER decided to bad-mouth me to my customer saying I must be an incompetant installer because I didnt want to use 7 visibly different dye lots in her bathroom. This woman was a co-worker of my fiancé and had I not been able to control my temper Mr Manager might have landed in the hospital. Complete ignorant MORONS and theyll try to blame theyre idiocy on you...

Do not go to this store to buy appliances! The salespeople are completely incompetent! I bought a fridge and garbage compactor and when the appliances were delivered the people that delivered them could not install them. The saleswoman told me she would call back in 30 minutes. She called back 4 hours later, Needless to say I refused delivery and than proceeded to have to put all my food back into my old fridge.

Chris was very thorough explaining the procedure for ordering and measurement of the window shade. She knew what I needed a showed me a book that had filtered light with no see thru efffect. Sandra the cashier explained the procedure for opening H. D. charge account. She helped me through it and then showed me the temporary code to use as a charge when making a purchase until my card is mailed to me.

I saw several sales reps while walking through the store but not one greeted me or asked if they could assist me. Luckily I had a general idea of where to find what I needed, there were several in stock, and self checkout was a breeze, so for those things I am giving 3 stars. 4th star can be earned by acknowledging me next time and 5th star is reserved for exemplary service should I ever receive it.

Went to store to get kitchen design but waited for awhile and figured I would call tonight,waited on phone for someone to answer and was then given to customer service and then manager said that she was On the phone with someone and told me she would get some one to call me back.That never happened and now store is closed Its 932pm.

Only honors certain types of military IDs and the Newburgh location is 1 mile from a military base were thousands have served. Home Depot would rather have more profit than honor the military ID of those that didnt serve 20 years and retire. Apparently my 6 years in the Marines isnt enough to earn their 10%.

Went here to buy material, they refused to take my card because it had my bosses name on it. Presented them a card with both of our names and the business name on it. Still refused. Went to self check out and used the card fine. It is Newburgh so Im not surprised.

Great place to get the supplies you need for your household, including many cleaning supplies. Love the "Do It Herself" workshops the women are great. The "Kids workshops" are great also.
