This little hardware shop is worth taking the time to review. The owners (and shop attendees) are friendly and very helpful. Also, as far as inventory goes -- there has never been anything that Ive needed that I could NOT find at this little shop. From spraypaint to funnels to locks to tools and hardware and drills... they have it all. Being a very close neighbor to this shop has been quite beneficial. Also, the prices are quite reasonable.

This is a handy go-to store for just about anything you need for DIY projects at home. They might not have the size/quantity you want so it may be more expensive. In general, their prices are reasonable. I live across the street, so I go there before I walk to Home Depot on 23rd. Two & half avenues is 20-30 minutes extra time wasted. The guys are very helpful. Plus, prefer to support the few remaining "mom & pop" shops whenever I can. :)

A packed-to-the-rafters neighborhood hardware shop in Chelsea. Whether you need hooks, drain caps, a towel rack, screws, a coffee maker or a Kiss nesting doll, this small shop has a little bit of everything. Plus friendly service who will help you dig out what you need and even let me bring my dogs in with me.

Chelsea Hardware is a great store. Its full of things that you will always need. The workers are all kind and customer–friendly. Very fast service too, which is great! Ive been a regular customer there for many years and there was not once when they have disappointed.
