I started using Heights several years ago after nearby Primiveras went out of business. The prices are a little higher than the local chain stores, but Id much rather pay the extra few dollars to support local business. The service is fairly good, depending on what youre buying. Ive seen the employees bend over backwards to help customers making large purchases. For those making smaller purchases, you generally have to approach them to get some help - they generally wont ask if you need help with anything. But once you ask, they are accommodating and will answer your questions. They are also knowledgeable about the products they sell. The quality of the merchandise is good and they seem to stand behind their products.

They wouldnt even talk to me. I assume because Im a female. All I wanted was a quote on lumber for a deck job in their area. If he couldnt help he could have just said so instead he just hung on me twice. Completely rude.

Great local lumber yard. While not as big as the big box stores Heights actually has staff that know their trade and are friendly and helpful when getting you what you need at a competitive price.
