This is long so in interest of saving time (Customer service here is terrible, easier and cheaper to just buy from Amazon) I have recently become very dissatisfied with the quality of the customer service at this B&N location. A couple of weeks ago I went in look for a book (which was not in stock) I asked someone at the desk if they could find another copy at another location as it was a gift for my father (for fathers day) I wouldnt have time to have it shipped to that location. From that point on the person at the desk was incredibly rude to me, which I assumed was the result of me not wanting to order the book to their location, even if it wouldnt arrive on time. Recently, I went in again to see they had a book in stock that I was interested in purchasing. I was unable to find it on the shelves so I went to the customer service desk (which was empty) but had computers and keyboards facing outward towards the customer with a search bar. I had seen these computers used at other locations by customers so I tried to search for the book. However, as soon as I began typing a store employee came up with a women in toe and said the computer was for employees only, told me "to get off it so she could help her customer." At first I was confused as at the desk there are 3 computers 2 facing out towards the store floor and 1 behind the desk. I asked why it was employee only if it was facing the store floor and she said it was policy (a policy that I have Never of before despite having used these same computers multiple times in front of other employees at other stores in my area). I moved away from the computer and waited to be assisted, then the employee starts bad mouthing me under her breath to the customer because I asked why the computer was faced out and how I was being difficult. Another employee walked by and I asked if he could help me look for a book because I wasnt allowed to use the computers that were facing the floor. He went behind the desk and looked up the book. Turns out it wasnt even in stock (again). I will Never go to this location again. When you company is direct competition with Amazon (who offers better prices even with shipping costs) I would hope customer service would be at the very least respectable. From now on Ill just wait the two days for it to arrive from Amazon.

Love coming to this store has surprises in new material but with the computer age books are quickly obsolete after even 1 month on the shelves! Got to give it to this store still a wealth of info of merchandise abounds! Just be on the guard at the check out counter the cashiers seem to hear one sided from my experiences (watch for the promo deals). Good store nonetheless.

All of the employees are very nice and helpful. I love getting comic books and I understand a lot of book stores that offer them know little about them or typically have a very small selection. They have a whole isle with lots of these so needless to say its my favorite place to get comic books.

Gorgeous store with 2 levels of books, arts & craft supplies, bookbags, calendars, journals, toiletries etc. Also have a great Starbucks coffee & dessert bar.
