Good old fashioned bookstore. Was looking for a item in particular, NFL Draft magazine, casually mentioning this to the man at the checkout. He said, "I just put some out the other day. " He left the cash register and showed me where the magazine was. Workers there are very knowledgeable for other things. B&N closed in Bay Plaza Bronx when I went to visit friends. I hope this one by the Christmas Tree Shop in the smaller Plaza next to Danbury Mall remains open. I acknowledge that Ive bought from Amazon but I love B&N and I purchase from there too. I just dont sit, read and walk away without a purchase. Its a wonderful store.

All I wanted was to buy a book (even cowgirl get the blues) I did not find it but going something else by the same author in the section close to the register. After that i had to walk all the way back to the encyclopedia section to get on line. It was going to be at least a 20 minute wait. I put the book down and left as I walked by 3 empty cash registers with zero employees. I could off read the Damn book by the time I checked out. The store was well stocked and neat and orderly. The lay out made want to buy more stuff. But the mile long cashier line was deal breaker. Never bought a thing there. To much hassle.

Ive been going here for years and while they dont always carry what Im looking for they will order it for me. Today I was in the Danbury store with my daughter and wanted to know more about the membership. The cashier John M was not only helpful explaining everything but he was so pleasant, friendly with a nice sense of humor! It was so refreshing to get good costumer service! This sale associated is a keeper Barnes and noble!

Joy in the childrens section was VERY helpful and knowledgeable. It was a relief to have an employee so engaging and offering some worthwhile suggestions. The summer reading initiative is an absolute must for all kids. I mean, who doesnt appreciate a free book?

The service is just out of this world. The selection of books is great with a kids section. I know not every store needs a cafe. There is plenty of seating by the windows with a very friendly staff thats helpful in so many ways!

One of the smaller Barnes Ive been to - this store is definitely more focused on books (again totally fine because its a BOOK store) but not as much in the music and media department. Nice staff though, and clean.

I wish that there is a cafe at this Barnes & Noble. I think the bookstore can generate more profit by having a cafe in there. There is wifi...so i guess its good enough.

Wonderful store, but odd layout. Wish it was larger and had a cafe! Appreciate having a decent bookstore, so many others have disappeared which is sad. Shop local!

Good selection and can order any other book you might be looking for at no additional charge. Have children activities/reading time throughout the week also.

Beautiful book store with helpful staff. If you need a book ASAP you can get ot here. The only draw back is they are very expensive.
