I have two quality timepieces ( Alfex and Baume & Mercier) that both needed a lot of work. I put it off for years because the last time I had them adjusted at Tourneau I felt as if I was mugged. (long wait and startling price) The watches sat in my draw. I finally decided to try somewhere and after calling a couple places I talked with Ralph at Jewelry & Fix. He said, "Let me look at them and Ill call in two days." He actually called in two days like he said. The watches both needed complete overhauls, mechanical and cosmetic. Ralph then gave me a price. ( I am not saying he could fix jeweled auto winding quality watches for 50 bucks but the price he gave was more then fair and less then I had thought) I agreed and he got to work. After the Tourneau experience I figured it would be at least a week over the time he said and perhaps hundreds more then the price he quoted. He got me my watches in the time and price he said. Im not kidding.... on time and in the price. Sure enough I go on Vacation and give one of the watches a real workout (swimming volleyball etc...) I notice a problem with the minute counter. I brought it back to Ralph. I though I knew the conversation... I would say the watch isnt working properly and he would say well you banged it around on Vacation and had it for two months so how is that my problem. But no, he proved to be a man of his word. He said let me look at it and I Ill call you. When he did (in only three days) everything was fixed and no charge. He stood by his work and his word. Ralph is the real deal for anyone that enjoys their special timepieces. He is a master jeweler and an honest business man. I am never going anywhere else.

The owner Ralph Does Amazing work!!! I took in my Rolex Gmt II for service I had been in a car accident with it the whole watch needed to be repaired from the crystal to the internal movement. I had brought it to Tourneau and there quote was out of control for just the basic work and they would have the watch for almost 3 months. I went to ralph and He assured me the watch could be brought back to life and look brand new. I had my doubts when he called and said it would be slightly higher then his original quote but still thousands less then Tourneau. He fixed the watch very quickly and The watch looks Brand new like I just bought it out of the showcase and runs perfectly. He is very easy to deal, Honest and very knowlegable in high end watches. I would highly recommend him for all your watch and Jewelry Needs. He is a great value and Unlike other shops he gives you a guarantee on his work Thank you Ralph !!!!!!!

I went into the store for the first time and was greeted with a friendly welcome by Ralph. I need a number of items cleaned and fixed. I also needed it done in a timely manner. I needed my husbands chain fixed, a new watch battery, my ankle bracelet fixed, and Tiffany jewerly to look like new again. Ralph was able to accomplish all of this in one day. I simply dropped everything off in the morning and then picked everything up before closing. Raph didnt know it at the time but it was my one year wedding anniversary that weekend. He noticed that my engagement ring was not to its shiniest capacity and offered to clean it for me while I watched. It was one of the first things my husband noticed; how shiny my ring was. It made the weekend even more special that my engagement ring and wedding band were sprarkly than ever! Thanks a lot Ralph! I will be visiting again soon!

dropped my rolex presidential day date 18kt gold on vacation....watch stopped winding and sapphire crystal was cracked... since it is such an expensive and complex piece I wanted to make sure the right person got their hands on it to fix.....after meeting with Ralph he knew exactly what he was talking about in regards to repair, overhaul, and polish. I needed the watch back in less than 2 weeks so I could wear to event and Ralph made it happen. I almost did not recognize the watch when I picked it back up. It was in good condition when I dropped it for service and when I got it back, it looked brand new and no scratches or dents were on it. Would highly recommend Ralph because his work was great and was very professional. His price was 1/2 of what Tourneau would have charged, he took 2 weeks, and they would have taken 3 months.

September 9th, 2014 - I read the previous reviews and decided to visit the store to have a broken link on my gold chain repaired. I was greeted by the owner, Ralph, who is very friendly and professional. He did an awesome repair and went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with the service. Not only did he repair the chain, but also polished it to an amazing shine. I give him an A++++. If you have any broken jewelry that needs to be repaired, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to this store. My overall experience was great and the cost was reasonable. One important thing to mention is that Ralph genuinely cares about customer service and does everything to make sure the customer is happy. I will definitely come back here in the future and recommend Jewelry & Fix to all my friends and family. Thank you!!!

Vilma - Mar 15,2012. It is with pleasure, that I had the opportunity to become acquainted with Ralph at Jewelry and Fix. I was having anxiety due to the possibility of not having my Movado of 20 years any longer, as I was told by another professional that it was unrepairable. An online search led me to Jewelry and Fix. Ralph was professional, and appeared trustworthy. He delivered all he promised, within less time than estimated. The outcome is a delighted new customer, with a watch that appears as shiny, sparkling and new as the day it was first placed on my wrist 20 years ago. Ralphs skills as well as customer service is exceptional. I will be a returning customer, and recommends him to all within earshot, who needs fine jewelry and any repair services they may need.

One of my rings was in need of a good cleaning. I brought my ring into Jewelry and Fix located in Dogwood Plaza, Franklin Square, NY. The owner took the time to explain to me each of the steps needed to clean the ring thoroughly. He pulled the stone out, and cleaned the setting in addition to adding rhodium to the ring. He quoted a price and kept to it when I picked up the ring. I was so pleased with the work and felt his price was competitve. He saved me a trip to Brooklyn where the ring was purchased. My husband and I have been bringing our watches and other jewelry to Jewelry and Fix since the store opened. I have also purchased some jewelry to give as gifts. We recommend Jewelry and Fix for both repair and their jewelry
