On my most recent visit I went to Tianjin Dumpling house and it wasnt great. The dumplings were decent but the service was terrible. I went with 2 friends and we ordered some pork and pickled vegetable dumplings. The lady who took our order didnt want to accept our bill at first, I guess she though it was counterfeit or something. Then we all sat down right in front of where they were being cooked and waited, and waited, and waited. Finally after someone ordered and received their dumplings in 2 minutes we said something as we had been there at least 15. After some back and forth our dumplings were made and as we were starving we were excited when we received them a couple minutes later. They were quite good but they were vegetable dumplings, not the pork and pickled vegetable we had ordered. We decided to just eat them as were were starving and finished up and left. As we were leaving the lady called out of us telling us we needed to pay, we made it clear that we already paid. I dont think Ill be returning here again. Ive been to the hot pot place in the back and Xian and theyre both pretty good.

Golden Mall is the original food court in downtown #Flushing #Queens! Mecca to all foodies in the metropolitan New York City region, the Golden Mall features unique and tasty dishes from the far-flung outposts of the Chinese empire. Recommendations include Sichuanese classics like dan dan noodles or spicy fish slices from Chengdu Heavenly Plenty, Lamb noodle soup from Nutritious Lamb Noodles, lamb dumplings from Tian Jin Dumpling House, Spicy Cumin Lamb Burger and Mount Qi Pork Hand-Ripped Noodles from Xi’an Famous Food. Great for lunch by yourself or small groups.

What a shock this place was! I finally paid homage to one of the oldest (if not THE oldest) food-centric "malls" of Flushing. I expected one of those new, if sterile-looking, shopping/eating complexes like the New World. Boy, was I wrong. Its old, grimy, and 100% authentic, if not for the occasional group of hipsters sitting, and clueless as to what to order at the counter. Highly, highly recommended if you are an adventurous eater. You will be rewarded.

It is like a 3rd world country mall. Im not comfortable being in the basement. It is crowded and not clean to my standard. The food stalls are mostly for locals. Upstairs is also narrow paths and strange food to non-Asian visitors. Many have said the food is good but I dont think so. It is just average but cheap. If you are adventurous or training for the 3rd world country vacation this is a good training ground.

Dont come here expecting decor and comfort, its a literal basement. The restaurants are small but their flavors are big. It had been slightly upgraded since it had gotten famous but it can still get uncomfortable when the weather gets hot. A lot of northern Chinese food choices, the most famous being the first Xian Foods. I think all of the stalls have great options and would be worthwhile to try them out.

Wyjątkowe miejsce na dumplings. Takich chińskich pierogów jak tu, nie jadłem nigdzie. Duży ruch, duże zamieszanie , dziesiątki małych sklepików i chińskich barów.

This place is like a step into another country and time with almost no signs in English and as covering every available space. The food court is the only real draw here but suggest doing some research first so youll know where to go and what to order since its really overwhelming when you first step off the escalator

Best Chinese food in New York! Do not expect anything fancy. But the food is just delicious and authentic. Most of the people working there dont understand English so just point out what you want. The best Jianbing can be found here! And the best noodles and the best dumplings. Another big plus are the prices.

This place is wonderful. I been here for over a year and always satisfying. The price is still the same as last year. A noodle cost $4.50 and it tasted so good. There are seats for people to enjoy their food. There are always napkins, spices, utensils, and fan for people to relax.

Its quite an interesting place down there. Its authentic chinese foods. Gone for the dumplings and their very tasty! Make sure you have time to eat in if you order them. They come in steaming hot right out of the pot and are much better if eaten right away rather than take out.

One of the best food courts in Flushing. Many of the shops have no English at all, so take Serious Eats guide along with you. I particularly recommend Chengdu Heaven on the first floor (or basement depending on which door you enter by). Best Sichuan in NY.

Authentic Chinese food at its best. This is a hole in the wall food court in the basement level. Offers noodles, suchi and some other Chinese traditional foods. Go in if you feel adventurous. Not suitable for people looking for fine dining settings.

I really like the lamb and squash dumplings from Tianjin Dumplings. Its $6 for twelve, which is eyeball-bulging when used to Manhattan prices. And they are some of the best dumplings you will ever have. Remember to load up on the sauce.

I lived in China for five years, and when I miss it, I come here to eat. Like a typical Chinese food court, its cramped and a little gritty, but the food is similarly authentic. Loved the 东北水饺 (northeastern steamed dumplings).

Good East to be had here ... But its so dirty and the street smells ... the Famous Pork Bun place is from the basement of this mall. Been around for awhile ... just too filthy for my tastes and I love street food.

Hard to find a bit dirty by usual standards, this place is a hidden gem for a great selection of authentic Chinese food from a variety of different vendors (and its very cheap) - bring cash.

Dirt cheap spot where locals eat at. Lots of small food booths to check out. Helps to go with a mandarin speaker to help order. Its in the basement, interesting homey experience.

This place is nostalgic for immigrants from China. It is not only a place to eat, but a merry place to catch up and taste some Chinese delicates.

A little run down, but the food there is great, feels very much like the traditional Asian food courts in Asia
