Needing to be in the area for a couple days and also needing to kill some time I figured I would visit a local shopping center with plans to maybe do a little shopping as well as grab a bite to eat. When searching on Google for a suitable location not far from where I had gone to and needed to return later I found this mall as well as the one down the road both of which seemed to have some suitable spots to do what I was hoping to do. Getting to the shopping Center was an easy journey but then while driving through looking for the stores I had hoped to visit I noticed some of the worst driving I have ever seen in New Jersey. It seemed that everyone was in such a hurry that they had no time for safety to where they would not even obey the pedestrian crossing laws in NJ which require you to stop for pedestrians. Not of course being familiar with the area I took a wrong turn coming out of the plaza and ended up going on the incorrect roadway which took me so far down the highway I decided it wasnt worth the headaches and decided to go back early to my planned pick-up spot. I guess I should have learned my lesson sooner since I experienced similar problems earlier at the Watchung Mall just up the road.

Ive been to many stores at the Blue Star Shopping Center including Kohls, Marshalls, Michaels, Petco, Avenue, TGIF, etc. All the stores have friendly, helpful staff. I have yet to have a bad experience here, a deal is never too far either. There is a lot of parking and a variety of stores and I go here frequently.

It may be one of the first in Union county but its still a good place to shop. Only wish they would replace the lot its taken a lot of traffic. Hope in the near future new stores come in there a quite a few wmpty,but the prime stores are still there.

Old school strip mall. Anchored by Kohls and Marshalls, Shop-Rite, Michaels, Toys-R-Us. Easy to get around, lots of parking, and right on Route 22, Westbound. If driving on the westbound lanes, you wont see it until youre in front of it.

Blue star Shopping Center is a great location with a variety of different types of stores, restaurants and a couple of toys stores to boot ShopRite is fairly priced and clean inside as well as all of the stores in this long strip mall

My favorite stores include Kohls, Michaels, Shop Rite, and Petco. Love the Arbys restaurant. Plenty of parking and less crowded than Watchung Square Mall. Hopefully more tenants will move in shortly to give it a more vibrant feel.

Great all you can eat buffet. The best in NJ. A nice Shoprite, in that it is independantly owned and still low priced, as all Shoprites should be. To hell with fancier places like Whole Foods.

This is a Super Strip Mall and is well known in the area although stores have changed over the years. Micheals, Kohls, Five Guys, Toys R Us and an Arbys as well as many more stores.

Went to Shop Rite while visiting NJ. Not a fancy store, but large. Went for B&G Peppers that we cant get in NC. When we lived there, Shop-Rite was our main store. Good prices.

Come here weekly to do grocery shopping. Plenty of parking. Kohls is also there if you need clothing or household items. Also a pet store and a resturant
