I would like to warn people of the devious practice that Taboo jewelery uses in the Simon Property Group, L.P. owned Menlo Park Mall. I assume Simon Property Group, L.P. condones this practice, because the "owner" of this Kiosk, Taboo, told me that he has been there 14 years. I was considering buying certain items and was uncertain whether I really wanted them or not. The "owner" assured me that I could return or exchange the items. When I went back a couple of days later to return the items, I was told by a different person that was there ("owner" wasnt there) that there are no refunds and no exchanges. After a brief exchange with this new person, they took me around to where the cash register is and pointed to a sign that was under the register maybe 8-10 inches off the ground that did say "No Refunds, No Exchanges". When I questioned the positioning of the sign, the person pointed to a different kiosk nearby that had the same sign but it was at eye level. When I asked what that other kiosk had to do with this situation, I didnt get a straight answer. To add insult to injury, the person said that they will exchange but not refund. Again, I did not get a straight answer when I asked why they would ignore the "no exchange" policy and not the "no refund" policy. In retrospect I really should have realized that I was not dealing with a reputable merchant. I was always leary about those "middle of the Mall" kiosks. I guess I just assumed that the Simon Property Group, L.P. would more closely monitor their tenents.

How this mall is rated lower than the Woodbridge Mall down the road is beyond me. This is by far the better mall and is one of the best malls that you can find nearly two hours in any direction. All Im seeing here is negative reviews from some imbecilic that apparently dont know how reviews work. One person is judging the mall negatively based on the fact that she felt one of the stores was too expensive and another person is juding the mall negatively because (*shocker*) Nathans doesnt make gourmet cheese steaks... this is, by the way, an actual cheese steak place in that very same food court not 100 feet from Nathans, by the way, and its been there for years. Who orders anything but a hot dog from Nathans, anyway? Anyway, this mall is a good mall for its size. Its not very large but has all of the basic fixins... It has a nice walkable layout with good boutiques stores, a good sized food court (I hate malls that have the food spread out), a couple of decent chain restaurants, and a very solid dine-in movie theater. I grew up going to this mall and it seems to get better every year. The only better mall anywhere near it is the one in Short Hills. The only downfall of this mall is it can get very crowded; Especially around the holidays. Its the best mall to go to for anyone in Staten Island and Lower Brooklyn, so you get a lot of commuters coming in to shop here. If you live in the area, however, youll find plenty of time to go where its not too bad.

it just sucks now a shadow of what it used to be. I know everybodys fine mp3 music online but theres no more CD stores thats a Cornerstone of every Mall theres no movie or Blu-ray DVD stores whenever you want to call them. Spencers is just played out and has gone sued trendy that is unbelievable is a lot of gay things in there I dont know why gay people are so in-your-face theres no more arcade and yeah video games are so popular at the house book arcades are horse owners every mall and Mallrats I mean every small has Mallrats we grew up hanging out at the mall Menlo Mall Friday night Saturday night and you dont see that anymore and its taken away some from these kids and a lot of fun hanging out in the no more grown up smoking pot in the woods getting drunk in the woods having sex in the woods sneaking into the movie theater lot of good memories this is way back like 20 years ago. Whats the best version of Menlo Mall ever in my opinion will always be the original Menlo Mall the single-story mall he was just awesome he walk into that place you can smell the cookies I think it was called space cadet or space something the arcade remember they had the first version of virtual reality maybe Im just getting old and these new Millennials just dont know how to party I dont know things were a lot better back in eighties and early 90s

I really do not understand what it is excellent about this mall. The housekeeping is the worst. The elevators do not work. The escalators usually do not work or being repaired. There is no family restrooms. The restrooms are awfully dirty even they get worse on the weekends. You would have to bring your own soap to wash your hands since they do not care about refilling soaps. Maybe it is because the soap dispensers are NOT working... I do not want to even talk about their heating system in the mall. Because they DO NOT have one... Therefore, you should bring your jacket while talking a walk in this awful shopping center which "some" consider as a high end mall. The management is so stingy that they did not have any decoration during the holiday. As to lighting in this mall, I feel like I should have been nocturnal. Half of the lights either do not work or turned off since the management would like to cut corners. Over all, it has been a bad experience having been in this mall and I wish people good like having to go there. Youd better off trying another mall!!!

The AMC Fork and Spoon is a great theater concept located in Menlo Park Mall. They offer more than your standard popcorn and soda and go beyond that to offer burgers, pasta and even mixed drinks. All of this is served to you just before your movie starts, which you get to eat during the movie. What more can you ask for! The seats are extra comfy and even recline so you can watch in style. This place is definatley worth it over the regular theaters if youre in the area but you do have to make reservations in advance so book early. Also, for the best experience, try to find a movie playing in a cinema suite.

i was hungry so i went to maki of japan to try out their teriaki chicken special and udon soup, I paid 6 dollars for teriaki chicken and 7 for the udon soup, i had to pay about 14 dollars, They didnt even put the food in the plastic bag with utensils for me, so i had to get a plastic bag with utensils and it took me couple of minutes to put the hot bowl of udon soup in the bag, when i went home i noticed there were only 3 strips of chicken, all vegetable and rice... and the soup tasted like water, Ill definitely not come back here and spend a cent again, very poor customer service, low quality food.

The Old navy there is not a reliable place at all.... Today I went in to old navy and I had a very bad experience of shopping. My galaxy s4 was stolen in the process of paying for what I bought. I return to the Old navy after realizing that I do not have my phone only to be told that they do not have enough camera in the store to know who pick the phone. When the guy that attended to me decided to go in and check the camera recording he told me I can not go in to look. It was a bad experience the phone was just 7 weeks old. I regret shopping in Old navy....
