(NOTE: "Poor to fair" is the lowest rating available. I would have given a lower rating if it were possible.) This place is AWFUL. Stay away! I went to their dark, messy and crowded store to look for a fabric. After finding the fabric that I wanted, they told me they did not have enough yards of it in stock. They said they would order it if I prepaid for it. I prepaid over $450 for the fabric that I needed, and they provided me with only a business card with the salesperson’s name on it. They would not give me a receipt showing what it was that I paid them for. They said “Don’t worry, just come back and bring this with you and well give you the fabric you paid for.” Well, it took them 3 weeks longer than they originally promised to get the fabric in. Once they got it in I asked them to send it to me by delivery service because I was in a rush due to their being late. What I received was 2 pieces of fabric totaling the yardage that I paid for, instead of 1 piece of fabric. I needed ONE complete piece of fabric and someone at their store clearly made a mistake. I went to the store with the 2 pieces of fabric and told them that they made a mistake and I needed 1 piece of fabric and not 2. First they told me that I must have cut the fabric myself. I told them I did not. Then they gave me a runaround telling me the owner wasn’t there and they can’t do anything without the owner and I would have to come back another day. So I went back to the store another day, calling to make sure the owner was there before going. The owner told me that I must have cut the fabric myself and its not possible that her workers made a mistake. I told her that I would never have cut the fabric as I needed it in ONE piece and if I was interested in 2 pieces I could have taken home the small piece they had in the store when I first went there. I needed one large piece and that is why they ordered more of the fabric. But they delivered 2 pieces of fabric to me which is not what I paid for, and I have no use for it. The owner kept accusing me of cutting it, would not replace the 2 pieces with a new whole piece of the fabric as I ordered it, nor would she issue me a refund or store credit. I lost $450 on this. On top of everything else the owner and her staff were obnoxious and spoke condescendingly to customers. These are the kinds of people about whom they say “If you shake their hand, make sure to count all your fingers afterwards.” This was one of the most horrible experiences I ever had as a customer. Stay away from this “Palace” of crookedness and deception.

This is by far the worst fabric store in this planet. Over priced and very rude with a nasty owner and staff. I went into this store to make my daughters dress for my son wedding being from England I thought this would be very delightful but I paid fabric for $450 per yard the owner said she would give it to me for $350 a yard then cuts its short and when I needed more they told me I have to pay full price. Then I went for lining which the cheapest they have is $7.50 and $35.00 per yard which is crazy for silk their cotton was $35.00 and $55.00 per yard. The owner gave me a run around and when I went into the store she was never there even though she promised me she will be in by 12pm I had to wait till 2pm and then when she arrived she ignored me and dealt with other customers. The 2 girls that is working there are also very rude. I asked them to help me while I waited for there boss and they ignored me started talking to each other and playing with there phones. This business needs better staffs and a better owner! This place is very disgusting I will never again shop here and I will never recommend this place to my friends my family and even my community. I hope the owner reads this and understand she need to do better for her store her name and her community!!!.

Horrible experience ! Dont ever step in there ! We spend 4000$ on material of the kids dresses and they made us crazy We bought one kind and needed more she had said she is ordering us in but than once we started the dresses called us back that she cant have it for us she gave us something else made us wait again when I told her i need it asap ! She was really rude and full of attitude ! So please do yourself a favour and go somewhere else unless u want this horrible aggravating experience ! Good luck !

Horrible!!! The owner is so horrible and two of her staff are just as horrible as her. I stood there for 10 minutes while the two staff had a conversation before acknowledge me on Friday . The dark skin employee was so rude not even a smile on the face. I went in there trying to make my daughter wedding gown and ended up leaving without nothing. Please dont get me wrong the fabrics are beautiful but the two staff was so distasteful I couldnt give them my sale. Sorry.

Great selection there is more downstairs filled with wools of good quality and some high prices but you are sure to find something you love in your price range. Everything is kept free of pesky moths and no discolorations that i can see. She has silks and laces upstairs of exceptional quality designs some of which are designer but not all.

Terrible RIP OFF Dont walk in! Girls are trained to squeeze any customer that walks in and they wont allow you to walk out. They harassed my wife so much and told her she must put a $300 deposit down. Now they wont refund it and we didnt even select or reserve any material from them Dont go in!!!!

I recently visited this store and I love it. The workers are so helpful and knowledgeable. They took there time and made sure everything I got I loved before cutting it. They carry a whole lot of designer fabrics. Which made it very easy for me to get the exact match.

The fabrics here are unlike any fabric store in Brooklyn because theyre beautiful and unique. They can go up to $800/yard for the hand crafted ones with exquisite beading. The sales people are helpful and I would definitely recommend this place for better fabrics.
