Horrible, I bought a cake, but it seems like the cake is over 100 years old(smell was horrible). I went back to make a refund, they gave me another one. The stuff is TOO rude. Even it is a small Russia, common guys, people in Russia are much better than the stuff in this supermarket. I will never come back, rude people shouldnt work in such places. They ALL should be fired. The worst place in Brighton B. Кошмарное место, я купила торт, пришла домой, вонял жутко, такое ощущение, что ему более 100 лет, пошла возвращать, на меня ещё и накричали там (это не наша вина, а поставщиков девушка, мы тут не причём). Очень злой персонал, грубят везде, особенно на кассах. Этим людям не место в супермаркетах.

Магазин хороший, выбор продуктов большой. Но персонал! Как будто специально подбирали - хамоватые тётки средних лет, грубят по любому поводу. На элементарный вопрос всегда готов окрик типа "а я пробовала?! А я знаю?!". На кассе те же хмурые злые уставшие тётки, отшвыривающие пакеты. Тем, у кого ностальгия по совку, рекомендую.

I came to make shopping today when I stopped to check out one registrar #2 was open. There was a line 3 people ahead of me. The casher is elderly woman who works there for a long time, declared to me: I will not gonna serve you because I urgently want to use bathroom. Why did she said before that this registrar gonna be closed. Why did she wait until I came up? She showed disrespect I guess that Im not the first costumer with who she shows her attitude. I can spend my money anywhere I want. I know the owners of this store for many years this why I made my shopping there.

I ventured all the way from queens to try the churchkhela here! The store is densely packed with all sorts of fascinating European goodies. Store is clean and has a fresh smell. If you are not Russian you may pass the workers off as rude, but they were ok to me. They werent overly friendly, but I guess Im used to desi hospitality, but they were pleasant enough. I will be back again when I have a free day and money to spend!

Great ready made food, excellent selection of imported goods, cheeses, meats etc. This place has everything and can easily serve as a one stop shop for fruits, veggies, cold cuts, hot food, bread and dessert. The bakery is especially excellent but they run out of almost everything worth buying by 7pm, which is a real shame. Also the prices are on the higher end, but you pay for convenience.

Very often they sell old and expired foods. I had very bad experience with this supermarket. Im very familiar with Russian food and culture. They tend to be rude and unfriendly (and I get it why - good old commies). This is America, they must change they attitude. DO NOT go there - bad food and bad employees.

That guy who said the cake was expired, thats the production date, but its in Russian so he wouldnt know. The place is great if youre looking for some hot food and good Ukrainian/Russian foods. Granted, they dont seem to like anyone that cant speak to them in Russian, but who cares its all about the food.

Great selection of fruits, vegetables, pastry, fresh and packaged bread, freshly made cooked food, fresh salads, preserves, juices, meats, and more and more and more - from Russia and its neighbors, i.e. the former Soviet Union. Not necessarily "service with a smile", but great food at a fair price.

It is suffice to say that employees at that store are rude and sometimes the rudeness is taken to the extreme where the security guards would basically look at you like you are a common thief and those people are having ovious difficulties greeting people at the register or on their way out

Garbage russian place in Brooklyn. If you want to know what is the russian style go to Russian Bazaar. NO CUSTOMER CERVICE there, fight in the line, very rude staff, without any hint of education and culture, who are trying to sell you a low-quality product.

Tons of options from buffet, to sweets to fresh bread to deli meats and etc. Prices are good too. Wouldve loved to give it 5 stars buts the staff just arent friendly or welcoming. Many seem like they dont want to be there and some are just plain rude.

Travelling all the way from NJ to buy my native Russian food just to realize its spoiled or undercooked is disappointing and disgusting. Many pre-packaged deli items dont have expiration date on them, shouldnt be sold. Where is food police?

I once bought a cake from them. Brought it back to the store for a refund because I noticed that it was sold to me past the expiration date. They refunded my money, but then took the cake and put it right back in the fridge. Typical.

Great place to find every single grocery item that you were missing from your homeland. Basically if you are from Post Soviet Union country then this is the place that you wanna visit if you are around brighton beach area.
