From what Ive gathered from my own experience, and talking with other local Beer Geeks...THIS is the premier place to buy craft beer in Westchester County, NY (...and possibly beyond, I just havent branched out too far from the Bronx.) I love what the guys at The Beer Necessities in New Rochelle, NY are doing, but they have only been open a few months. Flair Beverage on 207th in Inwood is also great for price and selection, I just get worried that some of their product stays on the shelf too long. Deciccos has had everyone beat to the punch, and you have to give them tons of credit for being one of the first local family owned grocery store chains to embrace the craft beer movement. I went in to check it out on a Saturday afternoon. I was looking for some European style variety (more specifically Denmark, the Mikkeller brand to be exact). They had more Mikkeller (and Mikkellers brother brand Evil Twin) than I could have ever imagined. I literally stood there drooling, in shock, for about 5 minutes before I could start filling my basket. Im pretty sure one passerby shopper was concerned about me for a moment, haha! They only two reasons I give it 4/5 stars instead of a 5/5 are because: A) There were no employees in the beer section to give me any pointers. The way it is set up is very neat, orderly and self-explanatory. None the less, its always nice to have someone on hand who really knows their stuff to assist in the shopping experience. B) I ended up spending 160 DOLLARS in beer there!!!! But that was my fault, I couldnt help myself. I spoiled myself with some very rare beers and knew what I was getting myself into. Keeping up with the Jones is the craft world can be pricey sometimes (but always well worth it). They werent over priced. Just remember "you get what you pay for".

For years this location had been left abandoned by the previous town supermarket due to high rent, which sort of explains why their prices are a bit higher than other supermarkets. The plus side to this is their higher end foods. Their sandwiches, sushi and other goodies you can find in the deli section will make you want to go here often for prepared lunches or dinners on the go. Then there is the fact they have a beer selection which would make you die and think you went to heaven (if beer is in fact your thing). Only other problem besides price I can see with this place is their hours run shorter than other supermarkets in the county. I can however find things here more often than other places. So, the pros mostly outweigh the cons in this place.

This is one of the three best places to get beer in Westchester. Stuff youve never heard of, stuff youve been looking for, its all here. Staff is knowledgeable and has good recommendations. Bonus, its also a nice supermarket (think Whole Foods level). Oh, also, a nice cheese selection. Cant ask for too much more

Our go to grocery store. Excellent deli, produce, cheese, butcher. Prices are average, but worth it for a clean store with fresh goods. Huge selection of beers for those who enjoy trying different types. Added benefit - 1% of all sales is donated to local schools, which amounts to tens of thousands each year.

My favorite market. Excellent service from friendly, polite staff. If you ask where an item is located they drop everything and take you to the item. Wonderful cheese section with knowledgeable cheese expert to give advice. Broad selection of beer. Quick check out.

The staff was helpful and this location was clean and well stocked the day before a snow storm. The store layout is a bit confusing. AMAZING BEER SELECTION as well as a place to fill growlers. Check out was fast and easy.

Beautiful market, great selection and fresh produce. They also have a great hot food selection of great quality and great sushi. They have a small dining are upstairs. The lines arent usually to long. It can be pricey.

One of the best selections of craft beer I have seen, not to mention a great food market as well. Good selection of bottles and a nice lineup of growler fills to go. A worthy stop for anyone that loves craft beer.
