Horrible cashier registers past 8pm. Rude. But thats besides my point of the review... More importantly nothing in the produce section and fresh. They only replenish when everything is finished or rotten. The avocados are always hard. The tomatoes damaged. The prices in the greens section are all over the place and youre lucky if the actual item is under the label. This place needs new management if not to get replaced by another market nearby.. Someone please bring competition over here in this area. Everyone will come to you!

I went in there on a rainy day and in the interest of not wetting the floors across the store, left my umbrella near the entrance (inside the store). When I came back to the spot after my purchase, the guy tells me that he sent his employee to fetch him coffee from some store in the area and they thought it appropriate to just take my umbrella. If you enjoy store management stealing your umbrella when you are doing them a favour by leaving it at the entrance and not wetting their floors, then this store is for you!

A few years ago, this supermarket was my favorite place to shopp.... now, its the most awfull near by me. Old and saggy vegetables, could see with my own eyes they eraising up the expiration date of the greens boxes. Also, i could find a package of tacos and asked three employees, they rudely appointed the direction that they suppost to be. I couldn t find.... Go to Green Bay at 32nd street and Broadway. Its a litlle expensive but you wont waist your money either time.

Theres a major issue with items missing prices. You cannot find prices on 60% of the products. They have a nice array of Mediterranean canned goods like stuffed grape leaves, okra and eggplant in tomato sauce but they are very over priced. They have a hot, dry chorizo near the deli section at times, that is as good as good, Italian dry sausage, priced moderately. They have an excellent variety and selection of fresh baked breads.

I lived in Astoria for four years, and this quickly became my go to store for several items. And even better, theyre open 24 hours a day, which was convenient for me. But beware, most of the ladies/girls there are rude, I wonder what kind of training they get that makes them act like theyre doing you a favor instead of doing their work. All the other staff are pleasant so it evens out, I guess. Overall, great store.

The checkout staff is openly hostile to white people. They will remember to give specials to non-whites and when checking me out "forget". Ive had someone openly refuse to bag my groceries. The produce is consistently low quality and near expiration. The Trade Fair on 30th is much better. The halal butcher puts out some outstanding cuts though.

Vegetables always rotten, fruit bruised. I only go here if Im getting frozen or canned food. Cannot trust any produce. Cant trust how often they rotate stock...theyre still selling damaged bean dip from when they had it in a display outside in the sun! Good beer selection though.

One of the best grocery stores around Astoria. There are tons of choices here. Also if you are looking for Halal meat this is the place to go! They have halal burgers and fresh halal meat. They also have a lot of international goods.

Best prices around, watch for weekly savings. They are slowly updating everything currently, but it is still 100% open. Just make sure to check your produce and expiration dates.
