I have lived in this neighborhood for over 15 years and have seen this supermarket change hands several times. If they dont want this process to happen again I have some suggestions for them. 1) Do better at putting the prices of your items where they are visible for ALL items. I shouldnt have to take 3 different items to the checkout just to get pricing. That is annoying to me and I am sure when you have to put back the things I dont want that would be annoying to you. 2) AND THIS ONE IS THE BIGGEST~ GET BETTER PRODUCE!!!! Every time I go, I have to pick through containers of fuzz strawberries, bruised pears and hard as rocks lemons! Your produce section is HORRIBLE!!!! I live around the corner from you, but find myself walking past you when I need produce and/or going to the city and farmers markets to get what I need. That should not be the case! 3) A supermarket should be open on time! You all open late all the time. Once again leaving me with no other choose but to go elsewhere. Your ownership will definitely change again if you dont do better as a supermarket.

I never expected such a wonderful experience from a small local grocery store. The new owners completely revamped the place. New wood floors, a fresh deli and fish section, and what seems to be much fresher produce and meats. They even have sushi and cakes that rival Lords Bakery. I was tired of the old place with its rotten-meat smell, but you get none of that here. Albeit, the aisles are super tight and the checkout sometimes slow, but to be able to walk across the street for fresh deli, or, if I feel like spending a grip for it, a live lobster, I dont mind those little inconveniences. The new owners are very approachable and will go out of their way to satisfy the customer. They are always present and will greet you with a quick smile and a helpful attitude. I love my grocery store now. It is no wonder that it seems like people come from other neighborhoods just to shop here rather than go to one of the larger chains. This place put Avenue H on the map!

This supermarket needs a lot of improvement. The produce section is pretty bad. The fruits and vegetables are always rotten, on the verge of being rotten, or nowhere near ripe, which sucks because this is the closest supermarket to me. Not a lot of options in the meat depertment. Prices arent too bad but they dont put the prices on everything so you usually have to ask, which is annoying. They also need to get more shopping carts. Last time I went they only had 3 and told me the rest were stolen. That is just unacceptable for a supermarket. For the most part the employees are really nice and helpful.

Stay away from the meat and the sometimes open fish department. Lowest quality meat you can find. Deli has ok cold cuts but their prepared food is awful.

Key Fresh has such a wide selection of food products and produce which is always fresh and the stock is always refilled quickly if something runs out.
