I went here today after reading the two positive reviews on Google and was sorely disappointed. The store had a big selection and looked well-organized, but the people working there were terrible. Two of them completely ignored me and when the third one finally asked me what I needed, she was quite rude. I told her I was looking for fleece and asked if they carried it. Seeing a look of confusion on her face, I added, "Or a nice soft cotton or something along those lines. Im making a baby blanket." After a moments pause, she answered, simply, "No." "No? No you dont have fleece?" "No." "How about a nice, soft fabric of some sort. Maybe cotton? Im flexible." "No. We dont have that." "You dont have any... soft fabric?" "No." Using my best sarcastic tone, I answered, "Oooook, then. Youve been TERRIBLY helpful. Thanks a lot!" And all I got was a dead stare in return as I walked out the door. WTH?

This small store is expertly organized to display many, many different fabrics and notions. I went in to get fabric to make myself a Halloween costume, but Im only a amateur sewer and didnt know how much fabric Id need. The gentleman behind the counter helped me figure everything out. He suggested a better quality fabric than the one I selected, but was not at all pushy when I told him Id only wear the costume once or twice and stayed with the cheaper bolt. He let me go behind the counter to get a better look at the notions and thread and made me feel welcome. They even let me park my bike inside the shop. I suppose I could have searched out a discount store and saved a little money, but the service and selection were priceless!

This treasure trove in the middle of Brooklyn is amazing! I walked in, and was immediately asked how they could help. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. The lady who attended to me was extremely helpful. Non pressuring though I did take the more pricey of my options, it was simply gorgeous! I was there 5 weeks ago, and now I am excited to go back today.. Awesome store, great service, quick and efficient!

Proprietors are knowledgeable of their large selection of merchandise. They knew exactly what to recommend. The store was clean, organized, easy to navigate. Excellent experience overall. Very pleased.

I took a chance today and went to this fabric store. The store has a decent selection- cotton, prints, suit material. I did not find what I was looking for but the staff was extremely kind and helpful.

I got some fabric to make a Zapp Brannigan costume for Halloween next year. Very good experience- the two people whom I assume were the owners were very friendly and helpful. Id come back.
