Price was ok. Service was lacking. Closing time was 8. I arrived at 5:30 but you would have thought it was 7:59. I asked the guy (nice enough) in the foam department about the vinyl and he directed me toward the upholstery department. One lady was vacuuming and ask if I needed some help without hardly stopping the vacuum. I was looking for some cording and was directed to another lady which showed me one product that was not what I really needed. She then directed me to another to show me some vinyl strapping then pointed me to the cotton cording(piping). I asked a question if they had a plastic version. (Back to the lady that was vacuuming which she had completed but seem like she was leaving- purse in hand) She essential said that is all they had and all I needed. Then never asked how much I may need. My experience felt like I was handed off to people that really had no interest in what I was doing.

this store is a fabulous find!! it is the first, and usually the only vendor i use. designers and workroom owners shop there. every time i ve shopped there, all staff are helpful and knowledgeable, and eager to help. prices are much less than other fabric stores or online. the inventory is amazing, anything you need for home decor, and a HUGE selection. its best to go with only 1 or 2 projects in mind. otherwise, you will be distracted by the abundance of beautiful fabrics and trims, and i guarantee you will wander around for hours. if you cannot find a trim you want but know the brand, they can often order it for you. great deals on remnants, often up to 4 yards in one piece. sometimes you get lucky and find several pieces of same fabric so you can walk away with yards and yards of designer fabric at a great price! i have not used their custom made services.

I literally just walked out of the store, the people in there working were relatively helpful to me. However, my partner and I felt slightly judged as we were being helped by this one lady in the upholstery section. Then, as we were walking away from the counter, the ladies behind us (who had been waiting there for a few minutes) stepped up to be helped next. Right as they were walking up, a white lady approached the counter and cut in front of the ladies who waited there turn (who were black) and the white lady who had been helping us said "sorry, this lady has been waiting a long time to be helped, so im helping her first". The white lady had JUST walked up to the counter, the black ladies had been waiting longer. Maybe the other lady had been helped previously by the worker but it appreaded like blatant racism to me. I will not be returning.

Well, I ask them to fill a couch cushion. First off, they did an absolutely terrible job. They did work really hard, but, on getting in filled to look like a school bus seat. Second, customer service was pathetic. I bring back the bus seat after I took it home to get the familys disapproval. They tell me they cannot refund anything. After arguing back and forth with the owner, he gave me $20, $9, and then $10. I had to continue each time to get more money back. So then he keeps the scraps to resale them. I offered to pay for the labor and at cost foam, which totaled was $29. The owner refused and made it clear how sorry, pathetic, and how much of a money hungry loser business he operates. If you have the option of going there or some other monopolized company, choose the latter. Mill Outlet is pathetic

I confess that my wife drags me here to Mill Outlet Village at least a couple of times each year to work on her next new "project." While it would be easy to complain about spending much quality time in what feels like the worlds largest fabric store, I simply cannot argue with the results that she and her favorite designer, Karen Garmany, produce with every new project. Our house looks pretty amazing as a result of all the upholstery fabric, window treatments and pillows in our home that have been produced by MOV. So it seems the least I can do is invest a few days each year for such outstanding results. Bottom line: Mill Outlet Village is a great place with a bunch of the friendliest, most helpful people I know.

Mill Outlet Village is a huge fabric store with a fantastic selection of all types of fabrics and services. My wife and I were planning to replace the fabric on the seats of our dining room chairs and to put up curtains to match. We found exactly what we wanted for the fabric but also found that they will make the curtains for us at a very reasonable price. And the personal help we received was great. A very good experience!

The staff is very friendly and helpful every single time I go there. Very pricey though... I have been lucky to find some wonderful remanants and sale items, which look just as nice as the super expensive choices. Overall, its really the only game in town if youre working on an upholstry project.

Amazing selection of fabric and trim for any project you have. Ive been buying upholstery fabrics here for years with no regrets. Some of the staff are very helpful while others are not, but the prices cant be beat.

This is a very unusual store with everything made of cloth for the home. Its a bit of a drive up Capitol Blvd. but worth it if you need what they carry. They can even replace the foam rubber in your sofa cushions!
