I bought a pet carrier for my dog. Paid $40 (backpack style, with a pull-out handle and wheels). The thing just FELL APART after two uses (zipper wont close, frame broke, side mesh in tattters etc); obviously shoddy manufacturing of the worst kind. The store would not take it back. The offered me the phone # from the manufacturer. Like thats going to help. If you need pet food, this store will do you as well as any I suppose, but if you need a store for what one needs a store (e.g., being able to return a defective item) just buy online or at a large chain store with a proper return policy.

Absolutely the best pet store in the neighborhood. I was in shock over the low prices and when I had told the man in the store that the other local pet store charged double what they charged he just thanked me for the business instead of bad mouthing his competition. Animal pantry is a great model for small business and you cant beat the prices. As for a previous review stating that they showed up and the door was locked and they were closing up. I do sympathize with you but on the other hand , the sign does say 4pm not 4:01 or 4:02 pm. Retail workers have things to do also.

No love for their customers. I thought I would shop here for my cat and give a small, local business some of my business, but at 4PM on a Sunday, drenched in rain I tried to buy some kitty litter and the door was locked and they guy behind the counter would not let me in. I thought small local business would want to keep their customers. I had been going here for over a year now. Now Ill be going to Petco since it doesnt matter whose customer I am.

Animal Pantry no longer accepts coupons for wellness. The reason I was told is because there are alot of counterfit coupons circulating and they had a hard time with the rep. So now its MY problem? Dont sell the product---sounds fishy to me

this store has a large selection of food at a reasonable price. They never knock their competition or bad mouth a food just because they dont carry it. I find the help honest and helpful without being pushy.

The only store in town that will custom order my special dog food for me - not even K9 will do it, and theyre a much bigger store! Highly recommended!

The prices on food are the lowest the help is great .. i would suggest this store to any one ,they even help you carry food out to your car. wow!

They have quite a few natural choices for cat food such as Evo and Natural Balance -priced moderately. Friendly help too!
