The Macys at this location has THE WORST costumer service. The store is always a mess especially a high end like such as Ralph Lauren.. The workers are NO WHERE top be found, and the ones that are, they are busy conversing with one another... I observed a woman helping a gentleman who had a baby carriage and child with him. The was helping him for quite some time with clothing choices.. I asked her 2 quick questions about an item and fitting room and she was VERY RUDE AND SHORT, AS IF INCONVENIENCE HER... 30 minutes later (thats how long I was in this hell hole), I overhear this SAME WOMAN introduce the man, and child as HER FAMILY to someone....smh... an episode of UNDERCOVER BOSS would truly benefit this place.. you can change the structure, make the store more appealing, provide more parking, but if you have the workers who you can CLEARLY tell DONT want to be their.... then this is your results..a high end name such as Macys with low level service.

Great , but please have a security guard check on the kids playgroup. Overall, it is a great place to come . My 14 month old grandson loves this place (when there are no big bad kids there). There are some people ( the same ones all the time ) who just dump their much older undisciplined kids off and go shopping and the kids run wild and jump on top of smaller children who are just learning to walk. Someone from security should come and check this .... it is is the early part of the day. A very dangerous situation is close to being created by these monsters , if it has not already happened

After Westfield assumed ownership of this location, things have gotten progressively better. Theres still a few vacant locations, but there have also been significant upgrades in the brands leasing in the mall, including meal options. Existing anchor stores such as Macys, which completely rebuilt, and Penneys have gotten better. One disappointment is the lack of a bookstore as well as a kitchen supplies store like, for example, Williams-Sonoma or Sur LaTable. Regardless, over time, its improved quite a bit.

Really disappointed with help I got from management regarding a large party I wanted to bring in on Saturday. I understand they dont normally accept reservations however I was told to come in and hour and a half before we would like to eat and put our name on a list. If no large parties came in before us they should be able to get us in at 6. So I should have my guests wait all that time and hope we can get a table? Seems to me they should make acceptions for advanced notice of large groups.

In my search for womens petite sized clothing I googled this mall and took a trip there to search for a dress. I was surprised at how bright and clean it is. There are large department stores as well as small specialty stores offering something for everyone of every age. We stopped for lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings while we were there and even that was excellent. If you are looking for a safe, clean, well lit mall that was not too busy during a week day afternoon this is a great place to shop.

I havent been at this mall in over a year because I knew it was going under renovation. The interior has gone from a drab brownish color to bright white with a lot of natural light coming in from the ceilings. A handful of popular stores & restaurants have opened up but not enough to keep people coming consistently, I feel. Thats also due to the size of the mall compared to others on Long Island, which are much larger. This is an average mall, but one going in the right direction.

Tiny mall, most spaces for stores say theyre "coming soon" or just promote the mall itself. The selection of stores is very small and spread out strangely. The food court is very limited, including a Kentucky Fried Chicken "express" which only serves wings and popcorn chicken, no actual trademark buckets of chicken or any chicken that isnt in strip form of any kind.

This local mall features friendly staff and great customer service with a neighborhood feel. Recently remodeled with a botique, upscale look and open bright floorplan-I was pleasantly surprised to find much of what I seek here. Lots of new openings including the Cheesecake Factory, AGaci, the Olive Garden and free wi-fi to boot! Definitely coming back here!

Born and raised in BS, this mall has changed many times over the years and will always be known as The South Shore Mall". The food court is much better. They recently (2016) took out the childrens play area and my niece and nephew are bummed about it. Hope they put up another one, the kids loved it. Enough food and retail stores to keep you busy all day.

I remember when this was the original south shore mall macys pennys foodcourt woolworths friendlys movie theater seperate i learned to drive my moms olds back in the 60s here fannys candy shop bring back those days guess not anybody else remember well at least now u have the cheese cake factory all we had was entermans on 5th ave

The food court popping but the stores are wack we need better stores bc the stores now aint cutting it & I dont understand why that lady allllllll the way down their being mad bc kids go to the mall in groups like heffa what you want us to do? Kids cant go to the mall with they friends like wheettttt? You mad rude

This mall is unkept and going down hill. Stores are closing left and right-good stores-Gap and Ann Taylor Loft. Kids hanging out in groups walking around. It is very sad as I live nearby and would love to shop there, but now go out of my way to the other nicer malls on Long Island. Westfield-What is going on?!

this mall has really improved a lot. the food court has need restaurant choices , keeping the peoples favorites of course. The place is renovated. I would like to see a better playground for the kids.. some of the things they have are dangerous. I see kids tripping over the stars they have stuck on the floor

It seems as though Westfield is always updating their look making their malls visually appealing and comfortable which makes for a very pleasant shopping experience. All the top named stores are present mixed with specialty stores that gives this mall a nice variety of merchandise vendors for everyone.

South shore Mall has always been the pinnacle of a malling experience for me. Ive enjoyed this establishment my whole life and had a great time since I was a kid growing up to watch this location grow up to get better and better. Day by day we get better and better as the immortal Emerson would say.
