Looking for a book or just wanting to browse -- this is the place for me. Friendly staff will help find what I need or get me to the place I want to browse. Parking might be an issue on some days, but generally I can get close to the front or back door. Book signings are frequent. The books that I dont use anymore and can "sell" to COAS for credit in buying other books from COAS. They also have a terrific online presence. I recommend accessing it through ABES books.

Was passing through Las Cruces and was looking for something different to do. Found this place and decided to stop by. I was more than pleasantly surprised. The store was bigger than I was expecting. I couldve spent all day there! Prices were reasonable and staff was super friendly. Will definitely be stopping by there when I pass through town again!

This is the Best Game & Game related store in the El Paso / Las Cruces Area. Not to mention the largest used book store in the area... very large selection. Great staff, very friendly and helpful! Its worth the 45 min drive and gas from El Paso just to shop here.

One of best book stores Ive ever been too. Amazingly friendly staff, a modest selection to choose from and a wonderfully inspiring atmosphere. Great coffees shop as well nice and cozy. :) Seriously if youve never been to COAS then you are missing out.

This is the ultimate guilty pleasure for my wife and I. Stacks and stacks of used books, records, CDs, DVDs, and locally published books. It is a mandatory stop whenever we are in Las Cruces, and we usually try to make it to both locations.

Amazing store with a massive used book selection. Their books are well organized in categories and alphabetically, something that not all used bookstores bother with. Great selection of southwestern literature, too. Prices are also excellent.

This is an amazing used book store. It has so much selection and sections to explore that you can spend hours browsing. The credit program is also a great plus with this store especially if you like recycling your old books and other media.

Coas is the perfect used bookstore. Rows and rows of popular and obscure topics. The gaming section is weak, but it isnt a game store. The staff are friendly and helpful, and will also give you time and space to browse

Feels more like an old library than a bookstore. The sheer size of the collection here is ridiculous. Everything from ancient programming guides for TRS-80s to anthropological survey reports.
