Small store that sells, comics & supplies, games board/card (couple game tables in back) and comic gear (statues, shirts, belt buckles etc..). New comics are hit or miss... I mainly miss.. You can request books or get on a pull list... But most of time key new books are sold out by 4pm Wednesday. Small Back issue stock, maybe 10-12 long boxes... Not a good selection... Back issues Prices are pretty high... I didnt ask if there was a discount... Poor selection of Silver age comics on display. Exactly 1 CGC book on display, think its been there for like 3 years... Not what I call a Comic shop... More like a hobby shop... Then again this is Las Cruces... If the customer base were better... The store might be...

This is a tough store to rate. Selection of modest, but not bad for a store of their size. Staff was available, but not terribly helpful, though its possible they just didnt want to be intrusive. It looked like they had some play space, but it looked REALLY tight. I guess in general, the bulk of their issues simply stem from having a really tight footprint. A small space can really limit what they are able to do. They had a lot going on in such a small space. I have to wonder though if the tight quarters make people uncomfortable or even lead to people overlooking some items. Its not a bad spot though and fortunately we were able to take our time. We ended up buying a couple of t-shirts.

I go to this store every week! I love the friendly environment and the store staffs knowledge. I can always find something I like. If you need gifts for the family comic fan try this store out. The pull-list system is great and offers a discount on your NEW titles. Check it out, stop in and you will not be disappointed. They carry just about everything comic and gaming related. One of the few remaining places family owned an operated. Do not even waste your time at the other shops around town GO to ZIA!

I wish i could give lower than one star! I went in to purchase cards and wasnt able to process them through their kiosk....i asked if she could look them up for me so i could buy them and she refused. She was sitting down marking and pricing comics right next to the computer. "As you can see I am too busy." I laughed inside my head and left. SUN CITY GAMES is where its at. Its in el paso but so worth the drive and the money. I dont even know why i wasted my time there at Zia.

Went in to look for MTG singles, asked up front if they had any, person replied with only on line at tcg. I said okay do you know where they do sell any singles? person said the same "WE DO JUST ON LINE" person was very rude and Im sure person knows where else a place sells single MTG I mean it is a local shop. Would not recommend to anyone

This place kicked out a nice group of hippies, who go around the country feeding people in need, just because they smelled. They live in a painted school bus. They cant always shower. They were just trying to buy some comics and theyre thrown out for their "offensive odor." Thats so messed up!

Great Staff-always friendly-have a good family game selection and a ton of comics, both new and collectible. Big gathering for Magic the Gathering Fans. Now, can we get wargames to the table? Oh perhaps Doomtown reloaded?

Every card game player in town has their own horror story to tell about Zia Comics. We have since all migrated to the Hastings in town which has a much friendlier environment.

Love the store that have awesome old stuff just that I got robbed on sales tax. A 12$ item came out to be 14$ and some change plus no receipt so just be careful
