Ive been going there at least 20 years. I dont go anywhere else. Ever. John knows everything there is to know about fish. He is super helpful with any problems you may be having. In 20 years I have never gotten a sick fish, and I buy about 50 feeders a week, as well as all the fish that eat the feeders. His koi selection is pretty broad, and very reasonably priced. I love it there. I dont know what Ill do when he retires. If you go anywhere else, youre going to get ripped off by "" telling you that you need 20 items. John will never sell you anything you dont need. He really does bend over backwards to help you. The last time I went there, he remembered I had a sick koi, and asked how she was. He really does give his business, and his customers, 100% at all times.

One of my favorite places ever. Once I found this place about 10 years ago I have never stopped coming back. The owner is so nice and will get you anything you need if they dont have it. You cant beat the prices of fish and plants that they have here. I never had a problem with a fish dying that I purchased from here. Always gives you knowledgeable advice on questions you ask. I wish there were more fish stores like this around and more owners that actually cared about their customers like John does. Anyone I ever recommended to this place has thanked me repeatedly for showing them an old school classic fish store...

I love this store! All of the fish are well taken care of. You can tell this is his passion. He can answer just about any question you have about aquatic tanks and animals. Great place, very knowledgeable guy, great prices, wide variety of fish (salt & fresh water) & supplies, and even has water plants, birds, lizards, snakes. What ever kind of live feed you need. This is the only place around I can even find live snake food! I highly recommend to anyone looking for aquatic goodies, any kind of tank supplies (including dry reptile tanks), or live food for their pets.

Best best best little unknown tropical fish store around. The owner John is a wealth of knowledge, and very honest. He carries mostly the common fish, but u cant beat his pricing. Dont let the appearance fool u, he can get almost anything u want, fresh or salt water, he has great suppliers, and can get some really nice exotic stuff, discus, plecos, just to name a few kinds. Give the place a shot, u wont be disappointed. John the owner is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5 stars.

Old school fish keeping at its best. Fish are in great shape, owner is knowledgeable (helpers are not, but hes always there), and fish prices are very low. He raises AMAZING koi in the ponds out back and sells them for cheap! He sells all manner of fish that people bring him from their aquariums, so the livestock is not for the hardcore fish people, but mid-level to beginners should really check this place out.

Never had a problem there. The owner is very helpful and will take time to answer questions tanks can look a little dingy but I always test water soon as I get home no matter where I buy, water quality always spot. Keeps a stock of replacement parts for most major filter brands. Prices are the best in the area.

While this place lacks shiny displays and fancy tech it more then makes up with the great selection and variety. The prices are very reasonable and I had a really great time looking around while my partner shopped. Well absolutely come here again.

This is a run of the mill lfs. He has live brine shrimp tues to sat. Great price. Also has other live food for lizards snakes etc. Overall good place.
