I just wasted an hour driving up and back to this place. I called before I went, message said they were busy helping other customers. Ok, so I drove over. Got there about a half hour before they "closed" and nobody to be found. Called the number again and same message, obviously not helping customers when the door is locked and nobody there. At the end of the phone message, does it forward to talk to someone, no, it says its best to send them an email. REALLY? If your phone messages says your going to be open, and the sign on your door also does, if you have to leave for some reason update your phone message and post a note on your door. Common sense would tell anyone that owns a business to do at least that. Thanks for wasting my time. Owner posted after this that he had a family emergency. So thats fine, sorry to hear that, however my review stands that you should have at least posted that on your door. At least I wouldnt have wasted time walking all around looking. I dont think thats unreasonable or do I think I have a bad attitude because I was upset from what happened. I originally thought it was 40min, but after looking at a text and phone call I made while I was there it was more like 30 minutes before they closed.

Best kayak fishing store in NJ with friendly, courteous, knowledgeable sales staff. When you enter the store you are treated like family. I have been coming down to North Wildwood Store for the last several years, and We have used the rental kayaks and stand up paddle boards. You are always greeted with a smile. If youre looking for anything to mod a kayak or need something installed on your kayak or vehicle this is the place to be. They also sell and rent kayaks and paddleboards. Ask about their storage areas where you can leave your kayak down near the water for easy access and not worry about freeing space up in your shed or garage. Im a happy returning customer and I keep going back for more deals. They also have been a great supporter of all our Military and first responders. If you happen to be in the area tell them Dennis B. recommended that you visit the store.

Unbelievably great experience . good for novice or expert kayakers. Im a novice and they helped me get exactly what I wanted!!! They are honest and dont try to sell you anything that you dont need or want. Help you get kayak in and out, take you out to get you familiar w area and kayak. Will come out in water if you get stuck or lost. Amazing knowledge of kayaks and equipment. I had the pleasure.of working.with.Chris the dad and Chris the son and it was a wonderful experience. Couldnt be happier. I told a friend and she rents 2 condos out in N wildwood. Tenents wanted to kayak and she recommended the kayak store. They had.a blast. She now leaves their business card in the condos. I feel very confident that.I got.exactly what I wanted and the.prices were right. I highly recommend them

This is the place you need to go to if youre ever looking for kayaks, stand up paddleboards, or anything related to kayak fishing. You wont find anyone more dedicated or passionate about kayaks and kayak fishing than Chris. The store boasts a great atmosphere and they make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. My boyfriend and I rented paddleboards one summer day - they were so helpful and informative about where to go to enjoy the inlet the best. All around thumbs up for this place!

The store has a LOT of cool stuff that I have a hard time finding in large chain sport stores. Its main theme is paddle sports but they also have some fishing supplies, water sport clothing kayak attachments and a couple other things I might have missed.

Not open during posted hours with no sign or any other indication why. Spent 15 minutes wondering around looking for someone and only found the people from the adjacent business who didnt know why they werent there.
