I needed a new battery for my wifes vehicle. I went on line and placed an order for a new one. I checked availability at the closest store and went ahead and ordered it. The vehicles battery needed to be jumped just to get it to the store on Rt 36 in West Long Branch. Upon getting there with the printed confirmation on a Saturday afternoon at approx 12:15pm, I was told they could not install it due to the rain and lack of available man power. There were at least two people behind the counter at that time. Being I needed a new battery by late afternoon, I was forced to cancel the order and make other arrangements. I was lucky to have planned ahead and carried jumper cables. (No help was offered to jump my vehicle.) Nothing like trying to keep the customer happy. This is the last time I will shop at Advanced AP.

I called this store and even though they had the battery in stock I had to buy it online to get the sale price. (?!) Uh, Ok. They swore they’d replace and install it for free when I came in, but when I showed up that afternoon they wouldn’t install the battery because they “didn’t have the time”. Like the other reviewer here, with a dead battery I couldnt wait. As I walked back to my car with the battery I saw them install a light bulb for some girl who probably paid $5 for the item! No time, huh? OK, no big deal to do it myself, but I had to go back there again to return my old battery for a $20 credit. Thats just poor customer service. I wont be back.

It is nice close store in vicinity of where I live. Well prices are good but customer services, you cant expect a lot on that side. Very rude people. The time I was buying battery a customer was engaged in harsh dialogues with one of the representative because the customer mistakenly left the battery on the floor. After one month , went to buy a gas cap for inspection. Just asked a question if I could put it on or take it in the box to NJMVC, the representative talked rude "I dont work for NJMVC". Everyone has a bad day once in a while at workplace but no one dusts off right on the customer! Lesson learned not going there anymore.

No book to look up air filter model number. Slow staff that didnt understand my frustration waiting in line to do something I used to be able to do myself. Couldnt be bothered to even say sorry. Oh and they didnt have my air filter in stock. I will never come back here. Ill buy car parts online instead.

Favorite auto parts store. They always have the parts I need. Idk what the complaints are about, Ive been going here for several years and Ive never once had a problem. Guy even checked my CEL in the blizzard of 16.
