I made a purchase in this store about one week ago and did not notice that I was missing the largest item after I arrived home, so I called back and gave the cashiers name on the sales. To my surprise she did not remember anything telling me I must have left it in the shopping cart. That was not true. This was a huge cooking pot and it was half off the selling price with the app. She pulled a bait and switch on me and hid the pot so I would not miss it knowing once I walked out of that store it was her word against mind. I begged the manager on duty to look on the camera and I was told that this was not done by store managers and that some comes in every once and while and look at them. I warned him that this cashier knew what she was doing and god only knows how many customers she have done or will do this to in the future. She wanted this pot for someone she knew. That was the only thing I can think of at the time or it was miss marked and she thought I had did it. My advise, watch the cashiers and be sure to add up your purchased and count the number of items before paying for them regardless of how many you have and count them before you exit that store. Same on them!!! Disappointed!!!!! My rate for them ZERO

If I give 0 I would. I found 2 items, and thier tags came off as I was still looking around. I worked retail and if an item lost its tag, wed look for a similar item or use the price book we had. If it was not there, we could also honor the price customer said or a similar item. They would not sell it, even with the said price. I took it to the back to get a price and Ive been waiting over 30 minutes looking at them (you can see the back, theres no dividers); and they went on break without hoping the waiting customer. I have seen then look at me, acknowledge me, but not do anything. Theyve played around, even messing with my items; so unprofessional. I even got the manager, Kevin?, and he told me to wait more. Even though Ive waited this long already. I could not even get a word out for a counter point. The customer come first. Here, the customer and thier money does not exist.

Very rude and ignorant workers, I have been to this store a few times, I have only met two pleasant cashiers everyone else was rude. They start yelling at you the minute you walk into the store if you have a bag or a coffe or water. You cant go in the store if you have a bag or drink, plus they tell you to leave whatever was in the bag at their "customer service" area in exchange for a carnival ticket. Literally a carnival ticket, I had just bought a lab top at best buy then went to this store and decide to leave after that. This also happened to a friend of mine, they told her to leave her purse at customer service before entering the store. In addition to this they put your bag in another bag and staple it to "prove" that they didnt go into the bag, as they simply can just open the bag go through it, put it in another bag and staple it again. Definitely risky

this store used to be great. then they switched to a sticker price tag system and if the item did not have a sticker on it, they could not sell it to you. 3 consecutive days i tried to buy items and they would not sell them because of no price. it was explained to me they needed to go back to production to get priced. so instead of walking it back to the back room and getting a price they would rather not sell it to me and let it go back on the shelf after a few days in the back. stupid policy. i wont be going back any longer. there are better thrift stores out there. Its a shame because i was spending quite a bit there during the year. their website for contacting them is a joke. why no phone number to call them?

Ive been to many thrift stores in the NYC/NJ area over the years, and its not much to look at from the outside, and doesnt come off as "cool," but without a doubt, Unique is one of the best. The store is very big, about the size of a small Marshalls, and you can get everything from bikes to furniture to suits to housewares here, and for cheap! Ive gotten dress skirts and suits as well as curtains and housewares from Unique, all without breaking the bank. If you go on Mondays, everything is 25% off! If all that wasnt enough reason to go, the staff is very helpful and nice, which is always a plus.

Great store! The shelves are fairly organized and prices are reasonable. The toy aisle is a bit of a mess but the kids enjoy playing with the toys. I have gotten some great deals here but now there are too many people with scanners on their phones. Id recommend giving it a try... The employees are nice but if an item isnt priced they refuse to sell it. If youre planning to check out this store go on a Monday morning right when they first open so you can get 25% off and find the deals. NOTE: To those of you with scanners... Only buy what you want for yourself and give other people a chance.

The prices are ridiculous. Management take note.. you are not Marshalls. Stop over-pricing items you get for pennies-per-pound from people thinking they are donating to support the Lupus foundation which you turn around and list at RETAIL prices. The only good days to shop here are on 50% off days (which is roughly once a month). Good luck finding anything amongst the mobs of people there on those days.

A large thrift store But staff is extremely nasty and rude When we went to the manager, she was pretty much just as rude Said she would take care of it but didnt even care to ask who was the person who was rude and picking a fight and took the complaint very lightly Cashier was the only person who was nice Overall Ill go there for the stuff but Def not my favorite store

Me and my Mom went to this store and the so called manager threw us out the store because she said I was stealing three pairs of eye glasses that cost $1.99 each!!! The nerve of her. I showed her $500 in cash that I had on me and asked her why do I need to steal $6 worth of merchandise? Do not go to this store ever, if you have some dignity and pride! Very Unprofessional!

The layout and size of this store are nice and they do have a lot of items BUT its really expensive for a thrift store. Maybe because its on a main highway? Not sure but Ill look for other thrift stores with better prices. Ive been to clearance racks at stores with NEW items and found better prices than this store.
