Avoid this Verizon store like the plague. This is the first negative review Ive written on anything in my life. I have been to Verizon stores in 5 different states over the past 10 years. This was by far my worst experience. First, when we first entered the store, and after giving them our phone number, and stating our reason for visiting, I asked if I could use the restroom, and was informed that they have no public restroom. A retail store with no public restroom? Not a good start. Second, it was 6:15pm and the Verizon site stated this location closes at 7:00pm. I wanted to ensure I had enough time to leave, use a restroom somewhere else, and come back to this very hard to get to location, so I asked when they close to double check. Apparently, at least according to this employee, they close at 6:30, even though the Verizon site states they close at 7:00. Im sure this is just something they state because of their laziness and incompetence to ensure they have the doors locked and customers out by 7:00. If thats the case, state your closing time as 6:30, not 7:00. In hindsight, I wish they had decided to close at 6:00 because then we wouldve visited a different store. Third, after telling them, "Well, I wont be able to make it to another store to use the restroom and back by 6:30," they proceeded to tell me that I could walk down the highway 3 or 4 businesses to the Dunkin Donuts and use their bathroom. It was raining out, but I had to pee, so off to Dunkin Donuts I walked through the rain. Im sure the Dunkin Donuts management loves non-paying patrons using their bathrooms as their sent from Verizon. Fourth, I return from my Dunkin Donuts adventure back to Verizon, to find out that all Verizon can do is hand me a 1-800 number to call because they cannot help with the type of insurance that was purchased on this iPhone. I wanted to make sure I was understanding this correctly, and this is how the conversation went: "So you sell this form of insurance to your customers, but when something goes wrong and they need to use the insurance, you offer no assistance towards it, correct?" "Well you see, this insurance is through a third party vendor and not through Verizon, so Verizon cannot service it." "So you service the insurance as long as youre selling it to someone and making money, but when they actually need service via the insurance and youre not making money, you refuse to service it, correct?" "Well were not qualified to help you with this insurance." "You just handed me a 1-800 number. What is stopping you from dialing this 1-800 number and helping me with what I need?" "Well I dont have your credit card information to pay for the deductible." Could we give them our credit card info right there? Sure. This folks, is laziness and lack of accountability by employees at its finest. Keep in mind that at this point, Ive raised my voice to the point where at least 3 employees have come over to see what is going on. This is not an isolated employee. This is a store issue. We left and will never return. The Clifton store is not that far away. The only issue here is: 1) Lack of management monitoring their incompetent (lazy) employees and how they interact with customers. 2) Lack of accountability in servicing the exact same insurance they sell. Instead of assisting the customer, they hand the customer a 1-800 number and leave them to their own means. 3) And I cannot believe I am actually writing this, but yes, this is somehow a retail store that offers no public restrooms to their patrons. This was just the icing on the cake. Do yourself a favor, and just make the extra drive to the Clifton store.

This place sucks! I was the first person when they opened to walk in. Third person to be acknowledged. I got here at 9:45. They open at 10 it is now 10:37. The man helping me walked away to help another customer and I asked Dana Im assuming the manager (who was playing on her phone) for help and she said I had to wait for the other guy to help me. Then they couldnt help me when Ive done this three times before. Im going to the down the road and watch them help me in a second. DONT WAIST YOUR TIME!!!! (I went to the mall. Im done and happy @10:56-it took longer to get to the mall find parking and then find the store then it did for then man to help me in 3 minutes and I was out)

Went there this morning. Wanted to downgrade to a basic phone. Have iPhone 5s. Getting laid off, so trying to cut my bills in half. The women sales representative. Would not sell me a basic phone at retail price. And except my iPhone for buyback. Said I was still in contract. Told her I spoke to customer service and they said I could do this. She just said sorry cant help you. Called customer service and ordered over the phone with no problem And their sending me a buyback box. Ill get $165.00 for iPhone and $50.00 rebate for purchase of new basic phone. Was told they should have been able to do this at store.

I was at this store to send out my old cell phone. When I was there one of their sales associate who comes in and asks me if I am interested to buy the Verizon wireless package. I said no. He kept on telling me the benefit of having the Verizon wireless package. I pointed my finger across the street where Home Depot is, and I told him "I work there, and I know how the business in sales really works". After that, he stopped bothering me. I think that people they really need to stop bothering someone when they say no to them. Other than that, they have a great customer service.

The sales staff was friendly.the whole company wasted a week of my life with all these personal documents and then saying the didnt get them back and forth....ugh, then I was in this store for three hours and still have no phones. They lied to me, said they would call, no call.even the store manager lied and said he would resolve the issue. Two weeks still no phones. No respect for customers at all. Ill give a better reveiw onve they help me out.

Dont waste your time. Do whatever you need to do by calling customer service or do it online. I dont know what to call this but on more than one occasions I was told to call customer service because they say they couldnt help me in the store. Despite the fact that this is a corporate store they would not help me. Maybe they are doing racial profiling because I have a darker skin than "normal." Who knows.

Worse place I have experienced. Dont count on any help. Personal arrogant and all they care is how to sale you a new phone. If you raise your voice store manager will try to scare you by telling you that he will call Police. Make sure you have smile face while you getting screwed. No basic knowledge how to conduct business and no respect for customers.

I love Verizon and their services but the fees will kill you. They are always trying to upsale and they never tell you about all their hidden fees. Bought a smart watch and it kept dying within 8 hrs. I wanted to returned it and there is a $35 fee that they never tell you about it. Manager ok but not too friendly. Ask about all of their fees.
