Here is a story that will warm your heart. At the hospital I work at, a co-worker friend of mine has a learning disability. Through other people, I found out about this story. My friend had been occasionally visiting this Verizon retailer store over several years and was on a first-name basis with the manager. Never bought anything but just browsed. However, recently, I am guessing sales were a bit too slow because several employees found some extra time and helped out my friend when he brought his broken cellphone in. Telling him that the phone was broken, these helpful store employees convinced him to get a new iPhone AND a new iPad, both with full data monthly plans that came out to over $100/month. They also convinced him to get screen protectors on both of these new shiny devices for a cost of $50 each! They were so considerate! Now, get this. My friends cellphone was part of his familys Verizon family plan (he lives with his parents since hes disabled). Even though, his phone was due for a free upgrade, these fine employees decided to sign up for an entirely new account since upgrades do not generate as big of a commission. They convinced him that he needed to sign up for an entirely new plan under his own name! Of course, when his family found out about this, they returned that same day and tried to return everything. The store manager was called. Fortunately, they were able to return the phones as long as my friend paid them $280. That seemed a bit expensive since Verizons return fee is only $25/device. The store manager explained that they couldnt accept the screen protectors back used even though the cost of those screen protectors are only a few buck. And this authorized retailer tacks on a restocking fee in addition to Verizons return fee, which was about $75 for each device! Rules for Verizon AUTHORIZED RETAILERS: - These stores are not official Verizon stores. They are privately owned and only sell Verizon products as a retailer. - As a result, you will almost always get a WORSE deal by going to these stores rather than an official Verizon store. This is partly because Verizon needs to pay a commission to this retailer which ultimately has to come out of your pocket. - Moreover, not only do you have to sign a contract with Verizon, you also need to sign an additional contract with the retailer itself which adds additional goodies like an larger Early Termination Fee! Read the fine print! *I couldnt believe this story when I first heard it. I heard that my friends family tried to contact the owner (who owns exactly 1,113 of these stores) who graciously refunded them only the screen protectors. How nice! I guess the owner thinks that nobody will care about this. So, please thumbs up if you would like more people to read about this. Thank you.

BE WARNED! This is NOT an official Verizon Wireless store, and they are very dishonest. First, their phone prices and therefore Edge prices are higher than any other Verizon outlet. Second, they lie. My first question upon entering the store was whether the sign next to the phone I wanted was indeed the Edge price (I would have gone elsewhere). I was assured that no, the price simply had not been updated. Well, when I checked my account online, they indeed charged me the higher "non-updated" price. To make a long story short, I tried for several days to fix the situation with them, but was only given more lies and the good old runaround. Not to mention they failed to implement any of the changes to my plan that I requested, and I ended up with over $100 in long-distance charges within 2 days. In summary: the store looks nice, the salespeople are very friendly, but beware... they are used car salesmen types.

What a dysfunctional place. We ordered a new box and went to pick it up - super easy and got the extra box, great. Now when we went home to set up the box we realized we didnt have all the equipment. We call the store to ask if we were responsible for the HDMI chords and the Splitter - they respond and say its included, but they didnt have any. Okay - why didnt you tell us that when we picked it up? They didnt even offer a solution for us - I had to pry as to when they might expect them. The response was they werent sure, as the guy who orders wont be in for a few days. Fine. We go back a few days later for the HDMI and ask for a splitter and chord (we explained our entire set up) - they say we wont need the chord or splitter, but gave us the splitter anyhow. Well, we also needed the chord so had to go out and get that. Just a lack of any effort to help us out. Pretty poor service overall.

This is the WORST cell phone store I have ever been to. I would give them no stars if I could publish this review and do so! The customer service is absolutely appalling! It is obvious to me that they dont care about repeat customers nor about building customer relationships. They charged me for an upgrade on my phone ($25) after supposedly verifying that I was due for an upgrade, when in fact, I still had about one week before I could upgrade. They also wouldnt take back a car charger that was unopened and returned to them with the receipt within the 30 day time period (which isnt noted on the receipt anywhere by the way). Then, to top it off, I already had insurance for my phone, but they enrolled me with a different carrier and signed me up for automatic monthly deductions of the premium without my consent! DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS STORE!!!

Complete scam. They are not verizon so they secretly charge you fees for using them without telling you. In fact, they charge a fee that is exactly the same fee as the VZW "upgrade fee" so when you do a search, it seems legit. What they arent telling you, and they certainly didnt tell me, was that their fee is IN ADDITION to the VZW fee. If they are willing to not just overcharge, but actually con you into doing it, then how can you trust them for anything they do? EDIT: note that its been 4 months since I posted this review and the store has responded to every other general complaint review but mine. Why? Because there is nothing to say against the truth. They are a scam and trick you into fees. I dare you to post a response to this saying that you dont. (I wont hold my breath)

This store makes Verizon look very bad. Literally the worst Verizon experience Ive ever had. They tried to make up lies in order to get me to leave sooner and the Spanish guy who helped me was very unprofessional laughing with his employees as if he was at a club and not working. They also seem to be looking out for themselves rather than the customer conning me into getting a "free" laptop which turned out to be not so free after all ( I asked repeatedly if I would be charged monthly for this). I almost canceled my service completely had it not been for a different Verizon store that helped me tremendously. It looks as if they are running a drug deal and not a phone company they need better management ASAP.
