I normally buy quality products from this Home Depot but their customer service is terrible and borderline atrocious. I made an in store purchase for a grill on Monday June 12, 2017 and requested the included assembly. I was told that it would be done by Thursday night but to pick it up on Friday June 16 which was fine. I stressed that I needed it before Sunday (fathers day). They said I would receive a call to let me know when it was ready for pick up. I received the call on Friday night near their closing time. I was told it was assembled and ready to pick up the next day. When I came in the next day, the customer service aisle handed me a grill still in the box and spent over 30 minutes fidgeting around to realize that it was supposed to be assembled but the person behind the counter did not put any record of that with the receipt or their own information. From there they tell me I can pick up fully assembled by next Thursday June 22 which was long after my requested date. Apparently they have one guy("Mike") who assembles these items on Thursdays and he was kind enough to ignore my purchase along with several others. From there I received an apology from customer service and was promised it would be assembled by the time they open on Sunday morning(7am). I accepted the offer since they kept me there until closing time that night. At 10:30 that night I receive a call from them saying it will be ready by 7:30am. When I arrive on Sunday morning at 7:35am they hand me the same box again, practically deny the included assembly for it, until one other worker recalls me and the grill from previous days. From there I am told to wait another 30 minutes, since "Mike" had come in late and just started working on it. It took over an hour to finally receive my assembled grill. I may never buy another large product that may need assembly again from this branch.

I had ordered kitchen measurement for new cabinets installation. The measurement contractor came to my house and took my kitchen measurements. He had provided suggestions on what I can do to lower my remodeling costs. However, he did not provide any of the design information to the home depot kitchen designer except for the kitchen measurements. The designer said his suggestions were not accurate and he did not know what he was talking about. I tried contacting him several times by email and phone and he did not respond. The designer also tried to reach him and he also did not respond to her as well. It was a complete waste of my time and I would never trust Home Depot with any installation.

Avoid at all costs. Made the terrible mistake of getting kitchen cabinets from these scam artists. Cabinets had to be reordered twice because of their mistakes, therefore causing me to spend more money with the contractors who had to keep coming out and recognizing their mistakes Then finally when I received the right ones, I also received one too many. Iris Carson from customer care said she would honor a 10% discount due to my hassle (never received this). Now they have the audacity to send me to collections for 600$ for the extra cabinet they sent!!!! No one from customer care returns my calls! Completely joke. Spend the few extra dollars and get someone to do your job correctly.

The gentleman that helped me was Virgol. He is extremely patient with me and extremely extremely helpful. He guided with the right plumbing equipment for my house even went as far as to show me what each piece connects to. Ever since then I only go to him and he gets the job done. I will recommend friend and family to this home depot to ask for Virgol.

The worst. Very few people on for to help. The ONE guy I did didnt know where a plumbing item was (and we were standing in the department). Then the item was blocked by one of the ladders. Of course, since no staff was around I had to move it. In fact the only person who seemed to do anything was the person who had to highlight my sales slip.

Definitely a good place to get hardware, tools, Staff is somewhat knowledgeable, its hit or miss everytime I go there I HAVE COMPLAINED MANY TIMES, BUT THEY STILL NICKEL AND DIME YOU!!! with the Keys, they overcharge and dont give you a ring, so 2/5, Ill reconsider if they change this... I visit this place ~1 Time per week

So far so good. I called Home Depot and Lowes in North Bergen and no one actually gave the courtesy to pick up the phone. An associate in plumbing picked up on the first ring. Its ashame my standards are so low but these are the experiences I have had with both stores in North Bergen.

People are friendly and helpful if it were not for that I would give it 3 stars for quality. I us we do to shop at home depot quite frequently but have began to realize there products really dont last. Lowes is a little more expensive but generally its worth it in the long run.

Worst Home Depot ever have been to!! No one helps with anything and if you do happen to find someone, they have no knowledge of anything in the store. I would give 0 stars , if it was offered. Wish there was a Lowes closer.

Very busy location with a packed parking lot. I dont live in the area and this is one of the many reasons I dont. Store staff was pleasant and store is clean though.

Just so so, inventory is a mess, help is not very helpful, IF you can find anybody in the store. I noticed their prices are becoming slightly more competitive
