My experience at the High Point Cross Country Ski Center was awesome. The trail system is extensive and the trails loop into one another, so you can spend hours in beautiful scenery without having to repeat the trails. All trails are well groomed, in very good condition and are geared towards various levels of proficiencies. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I even was permitted to give my husky a good workout ski-joring the trails. Trail passes, rentals, lessons and their food are reasonably priced. If you are looking for a close get away, this is the place to choose. I will be back for sure!

I was extremely disappointed with this place. I dont even want to nominate 1 star. They charge $18 (!!!!!) for using their extremely limited trail system.... which wasnt even groomed. It was the worst XC ski experience I have had. I wish i had just gone skiing in the woods... making my own tracks would have been better than then crap they had here... How can one be motivated to support local businesses when they arent even providing anything for your dollar? Never again.

High Point was a wonderful place to ski and is a real gem to be found. The staff are knowledgable and make you feel at home when entering the fire warmed lodge for some snacks to break up your day of skiing. When mother nature provides the resort with snow, the trail system is groomed to a high standard for all skill levels and skiing techniques. I will be back for sure.

I have been going to High Point since 1995. It offers excellent, extensive and well groomed trails at a very reasonable price. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. You can rent or buy skis there. I recommend a visit, or visits to anyone in driving distance.

We have been both cross country skiing and snowshoeing several times this winter. Beautiful trails to ski and shoe on. The lodge is a little small especially when busy and some of the help is better than others. But all in all a good, affordable experience.

High Point is a wonderful XC center near by for when North Jersey has snow. Hans and Kim provide great grooming for skate and classic skiing along with ski rentals and a cozy lodge for enjoying the fireplace and their hot food. Give it a try!

Cozy warm lodge, great rentals, tons of food, friendly knowledgeable staff. I have skiied here many times and love seeing the beautiful state park while I glide along miles and miles of freshly groomed tracks. Mad love HPXC.
