Save yourself the trouble and go across the street to ShopRite Pharmacy-similar hours. This CVS pharmacy is an absolute nightmare. It is very disorganized and I had a staff member lie to me. They called me saying a prescription I have renewed on a regular basis was called in too early to be covered by my insurance. I told them I understand that, and that I had just had the appointment with that doctor so thats why it was called in a bit on the early side. I asked them to kindly hold the script on file, and fill it when insurance would allow. When it was time for it to be filled, I called them, and they told me hey had no record of the medication being called in. They have also mismanaged some of my medications when there has been a change in dosage (totally boggles their minds!) in terms of how they handle it with my insurance. My doctor told me to suggest to them that maybe they were putting it in as a certain code and not the correct one and when I politely suggested this, they were completely offended and very rude. My son also had to have liquid medication for acid reflux as a baby. They consistently gave us too little and we had to at multiple times pay for extra when we ran out. Nothing like a screaming newborn/infant at home in excruciating pain because they couldnt measure the liquid out correctly. Im a chemistry teacher and even did the math and measured out the liquid meds myself with what we had, presented them with the numbers, and they scoffed at me. That was he last straw, so I took my business across the highway to shop rite. My son now has the flu, and his doc by accident called tamiflu into CVS instead of shop rite like we requested. Sure enough, I get a text from them saying its not in stock! Tamiflu NOT IN STOCK?! Youre a pharmacy for goodness sakes!! But guess what-shop rite had it-no problem! Moral of the story, save yourself the time, aggregation, stress, and humiliation, and go across the highway to shop rite where they are quick, competent, personable, and have never given us an issue!!

I have lived in almost every region of NJ and have always used CVS Pharmacy as my go to pharmacy. When I moved to this area and began coming to this pharmacy, it was the most atrocious customer service experiences I have ever had. The women at the pharmacy are beyond rude, nasty, and unapologetic about any of it. Ive called to fill my prescriptions hours in advance on more than one occasion and I get there and find that not one of these pharmacists have moved a finger, mind you this was not even during peak time. They openly gossip among themselves and talk politics in front of the customers with a "no shame" attitude, and filling your prescriptions are clearly at the bottom of their agenda. I have waited 30 minutes after giving more than a 4 hour warning that I would be coming to pick up my prescription and after the woman rolling her eyes at me when I had asked why nothing has been filled, I waited there for 30 whole minutes. I would rather drive an hour and a half in the opposite direction in Essex County New Jersey from now on to pick up my prescriptions. I would really think twice about using this pharmacy for anything.

My doctor called in prescription on Friday after she insisted on seeing me immediately after receiving alarming lab results. She called a prescription in to CVS. I had to wait a long time to be told that they didnt have it and that none of the other CVS pharmacies in the area had it. I actually did much of the calling to other pharmacies myself, while I waited for the pharmacist to tell me what was going on. I was told that it would be ordered, and I would receive the medication on Monday. Today is Monday and they do not have my medication as promised. The doctor seems concerned - the pharmacy, not so much. Going to another pharmacy. I cant believe my treatment is going to be delayed because I counted on CVS.

I have never had anything but a wonderful experience here. The pharmacist has spent time on the phone fighting with my insurance company to try to get medication refills approved for me in advance of a trip out of the country when my insurance company didnt want to approve it, even though they made it difficult for her; she has also made multiple phone calls for me to try to fill a prescription on something they were unable to get from their supplier, eventually finding out that was apparently discontinued. Service has always been very quick and very friendly in my experience. I have been using this pharmacy for 5 years and love them :)

Pharmacy Department is a complete and utter failure. 15 minute wait time for a phone call. Understaffed and Ill trained technicians that are rude and dont listed to what you are saying. They are only interested in getting you out the door as fast as they can whether or not you get your prescription. Store is brand new and already almost as dirty as the old location. I now have been on hold for an actual 21 minutes! Pharmacist actually told me to find another pharmacy if I was not happy with them. And I did Shoprite Pharmacy right across the street 100% more professional and has the medicine you need in stock. Later CVS!

gave them my prescription and they had an issue with the doctors office. They kept saying they would call the doctor to resolve the issue. Instead they wait for me to get to the store on 2 different occasions to remind them to call. Now I am 3 days without my prescription. Bad service and they have mixed up my medication on more than one occasion. Edit to my post. It has now been 6 days and I am sitting here again for half an hour while they ignore me to resolve my situation. This is the worste service I have ever experienced. They do not care about the people that come here. I will be going someplace else from now on.

This place is awful! Never has anything in stock, the wait is awful, handed me someone elses prescription to take to another pharmacy and the list goes on. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to the shoprite pharmacy!
