I visited this store many times prior to the iPhone 6 release. A busy location for sure but never had issues with my many years visiting this location. That is until my run in with RON the manager. Visit #1 - One week after the release of the iPhone 6 @ 6pm, I was passing by the apple store while family was shopping. I noticed 1 person on a roped off line outside the store. I inquired what was going and said they had some iPhones to sell. I attempted to get on this line but was immediately blocked and told I couldnt get on this line until someone got the people inside the store who were ahead of me. I totally understood so I stepped aside waiting until they got organized. Waited another another 15 mins in front of RON who tells me "hes running the show", after all this time only 4 other persons got on this queue but for some reason I wasnt allowed on. Tired of the hassle I left totally frustrated at RON but understanding bad things happen during the chaos of a new release so the next day thru my company I called AT&T corporate accounts and received a new iPhone6 three days later. Visit #2 - Fast forward 1 week later, while chatting on the phone with my brother he mentions he ordered an iPhone 6+ and it is back ordered until November, Im like Hey... Im going to the apple store now to buy apple care for my new phone 6, Ill ask for you while Im there. I walk to the store where RON once again is the greeter. I walk up to him and said "Hi, do you have any iPhone 6+ for sale?". RON replies "YOU ASK ME THE SAME THING EVERYDAY, I SEE YOU HERE ALL THE TIME" and totally blows me off, No reply of availability from him what so ever. I didnt even get a chance to ask him for help for buying applecare, had to find another sales associate to process the transaction. Needless to say I was shocked and taken aback from the remark. Being Asian I felt that this guy should have shut his mouth if he cant tell us folk apart from one another. I was speechless, never in all my years have I seen such a thing. Hopefully someone from Apple corporate will see this and send this bad apple for retraining.

well, as you can read reviews on this site, mostly are written when a customer does not get what they need or expecting. I am writing a positive and honest review on services I received son sat. Oct. 15th., 2016. I purchased an iPhone 7 plus for my wife and picked it up at the freehold raceway mall. There were issues with the phone and for some reason it would not active. After many hours on the phone with apple, they advised me to take it back to any apple store. Since I had work in the morning the next day, my wife took the phone and was assisted by Terry S. Terry was extremely helpful and professional. Since my wife did not know much about the problem, Terry proceeded to help her with the issue and issued her a new phone. There was a misunderstanding on my part with the new purchase since I was not present at the time therefore I had to go back on Sat. morning to correct the issue. I was once again helped by Terry S. which assured me that all issued will be taken care of. Again, Terry was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, professional and nice. We are so satisfied with his service that I asked to speak to his team leader to assure that his excellent service does not go unrecognizable. Thank again for all you help Terry. You went well above and beyond to satisfy us as customers. This is an honest review and please feel free to contact me about it.

Would give it 0 stars if I could. Horrible, horrible experience. My iPhone was under recall for the sleep wake button - I brought it in to get serviced. No where in the Ad did it state that I would be receiving a loaner phone with less options then my current one had that I sent in for recall. The loaner phone was not only chipped everywhere and looked like it was thrown around by a 4th grader when it was handed to me- but we also went through six of these phones. None of them worked. Now the phone worked- but as far as connecting to data - which is the purpose of a smartphone, it failed on every attempt. Basically, all the loaner phones were about as useful as your old LG chocolate - and not a new LG chocolate phone - maybe one that was thrown around by a kindergardener and played with in a sandbox and then handed back to you. After going through six iPhones, we figured you could at least give us a new phone- since they were not even able to tell us when the unit we sent in for repair would be back - and need the data as a business trip was approaching. We walked out without a solution, or a working phone. Horrible service, manager, and everyone involved dealing with us. Would not recommend to anyone as the staff some of the worst I have delt with. Id rather spend my afternoon negotiating a car deal then dealing with these "geniuses".

My appointment was for 12:50 pm I arrived on time and ready . Went to the front of the store and checked in , the gentleman ( I believe chris ) read me back my last name and let me know to seat at a certain table and wait . It is now 2:00 and Im writing this . We went to the front to check and the young man could NOT find my name , we were asked who checked us in . I pointed in the direction of the person who checked me in . I was then Told my appointment was cancelled , but I was also told to have a seat someone will be with me shortly ... this is unacceptable . My first expierence at the Apple Store and my appointment gets cancelled ! I saw and counted 14 people at my table alone who came in after me , were seen and their phones were repaired . Maybe the system need to be changed , or have a designated area / booth for the checking process so everyone has a CLEAR understanding of the waiting time . This is a reputable company and for it to remain that way EVERY one should be in unison ! Alternatively KY was great and answered all the questions I had . Thank you Ky for your awesome customer service I give you 5 stars

This Short Hills has the worst customer service time and time again whether it be for my cell, MacBook Pro, or iPad. I find the employees at this particular store to be rude, unhelpful, and uncaring time and time again. If I mention my stories I can go on forever. As far as today, I am upset since after recently spending $1,440 to fix an issue with my MacBook Pro (Retina), and there is a new problem. Out of nowhere my computer shuts off and feel as if it is overheating without a reason I can think of. I called the store to ask if I may come in and wait since I am worried about my computer, since I do not have an appt. The person who answered the phone was nasty and cold to me before I even asked my question. When he did respond to my question, he said "No, you cannot come in as a walk-in since it is too busy on Saturdays." I know this store is busy, but why am I not allowed to wait in case someone is a no-show or cancels? And why did he not care that I just spent a fortune to fix my computer, and now there is a new issue? I would think they could at least allow me to wait just in case there may be time.
