After years of buying my lifting / training sneakers at places like Sports Authority and rarely being fully satisfied with my purchase, I decided to try Miles Ahead after a recommendation from a good friend. I walked in and was greeted by Gunnar. After some conversation about what I wanted / needed in a sneaker, he handed me his selection. I tried them on and was sold - didnt need to look at any other sneakers, which is very rare for me. I wore them for the first time during my workout the next day and loved them. Great advice - definitely worth coming here regardless of your footwear needs / preferred fitness activity!

Have issues with my knee on and off for years due to many years of training in combat sports and lots of roadwork/sprint intervals. Was recommended by a physical therapist to check this place out. Very knowledgable and very friendly. Explained my knee issues to them and what was recommended to me by my therapist. Worked with me to find a custom sneaker specifically for work and running. Fantastic service! Great selection. These guys know shoes. They do a great job of putting you in a shoe that fits correctly and is within your budget. I will not shop for my running shoes any where else. Ive had numerous leg injuries from as I try to increase my running volume, but not since I was fitted for the proper shoes @ Miles Ahead. Highly highly recommend this place.

He shared his knowledge with me in a way that did not make me feel inferior, rather he was empowering me by sharing his knowledge.
