Most of the staff are friendly but management is lacking and sometimes curt. The store is very clean with the exception of the bathroom. They sometimes say items are on sale when the product has had the same price for more than a year. The pricing is a little high but this is the only grocery store in the immediate area. The pharmacy really needs some major changes. They dont always check medication interactions or dose so you should be very careful. A doctor gave me an incorrect dosage and they didnt even question it. I also had a life threatening reaction with a medicine because it wasnt checked for interactions with the another medication. On both occasions I spoke to the 2 different pharmacists and they blamed the persciber. The perscibers is responsible for their incorrect perscription but the pharmacists is supposed to check and make you and your doctor aware of a possible issue. On the another occasion a pharmacist yelled at me because I went to the counter to drop off a perscription when there was another person there. I admit I was wrong to go to the counter but she could have corrected me without yelling. She was rude and nasty. There is also a pharmacist staff helper who is completely unqualified to assist people. She asked me the same question 5 times and would repeat back something completely different from what I said. She was also very slow. Please note that most of the staff are friendly and quick.

Leave your dignity at the door. One of the worst places for customer service; they have no respect for their customers. Once I get out of the checkout line, I get stopped and accused of stealing a vitamin bottle in my pocket. I empty my pockets to show him that I did not take anything. Instead of apologizing and ending the matter, the security guard accuses me of tampering with the bottle. He demands that I show him where I put the bottle. For 20 mins he was in my face screaming. Finally we find the bottle. NOT STOLEN OR TAMPERED. He still refuses to apologize. The thing that upsets me is that he had no proof but he still decided to accuse me of stealing and threatened to call the police. It was one of the most humiliating experiences. Remember if you decide to enter the store, leave your dignity at the door.

I visited my local ACME on 690 Millbrook ave, Randolph and purchased a pork picnic roast. Not only did the tag state "packaged on 2 July" (it is 1 July today) but the meat was spoiled and stunk up my whole kitchen. I am worried that this might be a common practice at this store. Replacing labels on expired meats is dangerous and outright wrong! Food safety seems to be lacking at this store. I returned my purchase and the customer service attendant didnt have anything to say about my concerns other than "Ill have someone speak to the meat department". What else is this store hiding?!

Today I made my first, and last visit to the Acme in Randolph. My husband couldnt locate an item in the self check computer. The employee who responded was curt, condescending and rude. As we left the store, she mumbled something at us. I asked her if she had a problem and she dismissively demanded we "just keep going" and leave the store. Then she turned her back on us. There is no excuse for such behavior. Im sure any one of the many other grocery stores in the area will be more than happy to benefit from Acmes loss.

This place is one step up from your local Quickcheck or 7-11. The selection here is so-so, but is priced a bit higher simply because it is in Randolph. Cashier operators are typically High School teens, but that is to be expected. One thing I do like to get here is the ACME Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies. Pretty decent for mass market cookies

Nice Store. The Manager should be ashamed of not repairing the mens toilet. The stall I used had no door latch, no toilet paper to fit the holder. Instead, I had to pick up the "non-standard" 1 diameter roll off of the back of the toilet (where, I guess, it gathers urine) and hold it on my lap....there was no place to set it.

Im always disappointed when I shop here. The only reason I ever do is because its so close to home. They are always out of stock in their meat department. There have been times where I havent been able to find a single case of chicken thighs.

Clean and well stocked. They had all my organic products and they got me out of the store quickly. 2 workers helped me find items without being asked. I would highly recommend this supermarket.

Layout is good and the is clean. But only have 3 cashiers open on a Sunday afternoon is god awful planning. Hire more staff...or become a ShopRite and make everyone happy.
