I would not give this specific location not even one star, this store is so beautiful and used to be very pleasant to shop at. The employees were friendly and respectful. Shopping there now I feel harassed to buy. When I visit, and I only get good service when they know I am buying something, I guess they work on commission. A lot of the managers, from what I have experienced arent genuine when I have specifically asked to speak to them in helping me find a package that was never delivered . Sorry but I felt I was bothering the lady over in the Designer Handbags. The Customer Service is nice at times when I do returns, but when I do returns at departments, I am treated rudely, especially in the Mens Shoes department. I was going to purchase a pair of Gucci shoes for my husband but I decided not to because I felt they only wanted me to buy buy buy. They didnt listen to my what I wanted, they continued to suggest a higher priced item, and I know how retail works, but for this reason I rather not deal with this store, even though I live 5 minutes away. I was very I upset when I wanted cash back and they didnt want to give me my cash even though I paid cash. Sometimes I walk around the store and I am never approached by anyone, and I tell you, I am VERY displeased. Ive been a Nordstrom customer for over 20 years but that is changing. Overall, it was more bad than good.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING HERE AND HAVE IT SHIPPED TO THE STORE TO PICKUP. We could have bought Sorel boots many places, especially since they werent even on sale. The size/style my girlfriend wanted wasnt in stock, so having it ordered & shipped to the Garden State Plaza store we were in was offered to us. I paid for this Christmas gift and we returned 2 weeks later since an email alert said it was delivered to store. We braved the crowded roads, parking lot & mall to only find out that the shoes were not there & nobody could explain. We wasted approximately 20 minutes while getting the run around. The BP Shoes section Manager then offered to call us later when someone was scheduled to come in at 1pm to go to wherever shipments come in from & theyd know more then. We never received a call. Its now 5 days later from that visit. Its 19 days from the purchase date & the day before Christmas and still no boots. I wouldnt expect customer service and processes this bad even from Walmart. Will be happy to shop competitors such as Bloomingdales going forward.

Horrible horrible horrible I been a costumer for way too long I buy alll my shoes from This specific location and all I wanted to do was exchange a pair of shoes that I had gotten as a gift and since I didnt have the box the representive had said no I cant take it back and walked away. He was very unprofesssional I will never come back to this location again. Short hills has a way better attitude. Very very very helpful

The store definitely has a friendly staff so you should now hesitate to ask and interact. This is a key Nordstrom advantage. But this is not a flagship or top tier Nordstrom. This means you will not have the full selection available at those stores. There is limited mens designer selection, for instance (Thom Browne, Lanvin, etc. are missing). But you can find very solid selection of high quality labels.

Great choices with many comfortable shirts and pants. Many designs to pick with assortment of styles. I even got a $10 certificate from them on my email for joining their rewards program, which was only available this year during August. Great staff and service I would shop here more often.

I love the clothing at Nordstrom, but I will NEVER shop at this one. The store is a mess, clothing is always strewn all over the place, the lines for the dressing room are usually 10 people deep, and the lines for the register are worse than at an amusement park.

Sales representatives are personable at the Kiehls counter and are always eager to help me find what I need. All ladies in the fragrance area always greet me. Denise, Joy and Virginia are an asset to the Nordstrum staff.

The flagship NJ Nordstrom at the Westfield Garden State Plaza is expwnsive. Like all Nordstrom stores. I park here when I come to this mall and I like the looks of the store and the elovaitor and escolaitors.

The staff is very helpful and know where things are. This is similar to other department stores deal and merchandise wise. Its a good place to come with groups to just walk around and pass time.
