Big order that we placed nice guys to work with but took almost 4 hours because the order was large and going to our new house inSC. Took them a really long time to process the order until they finally realized they needed to split it. The first transaction went thro ok it was the larger but the second caused a fraud alert. Great I understand that but inspite of showing proof, reading off the call being received and the number it was coming from - from the hook into my cell and xfinity account the Manager verifying that he had proof they would not process the transaction and I cannot update the records with my cell because now they have a fraud alert on my account. I felt bad for the guys who waited on me although they should have been able to get the order done faster. They blame CITI bank but too me it is all a Best Buy Transaction and like I said nice guys but a horrible experience - I cancelled the whole order. I was not walking out of the store with any merchandise either it was set for delivery 3 weeks from now and included installation that I was paying for - makes no sense to me that they had no better way to verify this was not fraud. I have never had an issue with fraud alerts and confirmation before from other major credit card companies. This was totally out of the line of reasonableness given that I could have the largest part of the order w/o verification and the smaller Amount is what caused all this. So given the wait time to finally process the order and the end result cannot give Best Buy anything but a failing mark - I will look on line and try s competitor!

HORRIBLE! Dont ever use the Geek Squad. I had to return a brand new computer (only 4 weeks old) because it was running slow and then would not turn on. The Geek Squad suggested restoring the computer to factory settings, and promised to back up and restore my six years worth of Fireworks Artwork that I use for my website. Upon receiving the computer back, they lost all of my pictures and the Word program will not open, as it stated it was unlicensed and the product key had been used. In speaking with the General Manager, Steve, he refused to send someone to my house; stated that the pictures were likely hidden somewhere (seriously?) and he needed to verify that I was not lying about the Word program. Further, he stated that, if they lost my over 500 pictures and six years of artwork that I use for my business, he could give me a $100 gift card that I COULD USE IN THE STORE! He also offered to send my computer off to Document Recovery to try to find the lost pictures and artwork. I explained that that would not work, as I need my computer for my business. HE RESPONDED THAT HE WOULD SELL ME A COMPUTER CHEAP TO USE WHILE MY COMPUTER WAS IN DOCUMENT RECOVERY FIXING WHAT THEY BOTCHED UP! I am (was) an Elite Plus member, having purchased no less than 10 computers, my washer, dryer and kitchen appliances from this place. I WILL NEVER RETURN. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. Simply awful.

Worst customer service ever! I dont know how they are still in business. Last couple times I have been there it took forever to get help. This past Friday afternoon I went in to pick up a couple things, first item I needed was an Apple iPad Mini. They were not busy, there might have been 20 customers in the store at the time. It took over 20 minutes to get a sales associate to help me out. Told him what I wanted, he disappeared for 10 minutes and came back with another employee who he said would go get the iPad for me. That employee went in the back for 10-15 minutes and came back without finding the iPad I needed and then proceeded to check the cabinet that was right next to where I have now been standing for over 40 minutes. It wasnt in that cabinet so he said he need to go to the back again ... At that point I said forget it, Im going to the apple store. I left Best Buy without the ipad, also without the ps4, and all-in-one pc that I was planning on buying. I was ready to spend over $2,000 and will never go back there again. I did go to the apple store where I was greeted within seconds, had the iPad mini in my hands within 3 minutes, and was out the door with my purchase in a total of 6 minutes. Go to the Apple Store or buy online. This Best Buy is following Circuit City and CompUSA to its doom.

This is my first review but I felt so strongly compelled after reading some and then going here and witnessing first hand how bad the on floor customer service is. As I walked toward the isle I was looking for an old man hobbled near the other end and spoke with a girl working. He said he was looking for wireless usb sticks. For some reason the girl says huh why what do you need it for? So he has to explain what they are and why they are used...She points at the isle and says there should be some in there and walks away! Haha wooow. For icing on the cake I was looking for something not very well known but youd hope best buy internet isle people would understand. Even if not youd hope theyd respond like a human being. So it was my turn and I asked her if they had any MoCA adapters. She looked at me cross eyed and decided to stay silent. I said well they should be around this isle. She remarked yea theres more stuff on the other side and walked away. Now the old man story is really the core of how awful that expierence was but atleast in my case when I went to the customer service desk the guy there responded to me in a way one would hope for. He said he had never heard of a MoCA adapter but would he happy to learn and see if they have any in stock.

I have been a DJ for 20 years and have done much business through this location along with their website and today was trying to make a purchase for an item in store that was not able to be authorized because of the reason that is unknown to everybody at the store, one line, and my bank has approved. In my times as a consumer, have not had such a miserable experience with making a larger purchase at anytime. I had also explained that they will not miss my business because of being such a large corporation and was told yes you are correct! Because I know none of this matters to their business but I certainly will not even step foot inside one of the stores and if you get treated the same, I would ask you to do the same thing and please spread your message because we do not matter to corporations like this one! I highly recommend not suffering a morning on the phone with multiple people given the runaround while youre bank is approving such a transaction. If you keep feeding this monster it will consume you eventually so learn this lesson now before its too late! David did win the battle one time again such a giant! Starts with one of us.......
