My wife and I have been looking for a used Buick enclave for the few months leading up to the end of our lease on our previous vehicle. My wife found our new to us 2014 Buick enclave at Auto holdings on route 46 Mountain Lakes. Her and my son made the ride up to check out this vehicle and really liked it. She negotiated prices with a sales person there and came home to give me the scoop on everything. A day later we went back up to purchase the vehicle and that is where the fun begins. Once we sat down with the owner /manager we find out that the numbers the previous sales person gave us were not approved by him. And after some haggling back-and-forth with numbers we settled on a sales price. We were very aware that Auto holdings does not certify nor carry their own warranties. They upsell you on a separate warranty package through a company that had less than stellar reviews online. But with their so-called vehicle inspection and the fact that the car is less than two years old, we decided on using the balance of the factory powertrain warranty And forgoing the additional warrantee that would have to be purchased. After what admittedly was a quick close to the sale,we went on our merry way. Less than two months and 2000 miles into our future we started hearing horrible noises from the rear brakes and started having trouble with our rear blower unit. We never contacted Auto holdings being they held no warranty at this time to us. We brought our Buick to our local dealership only to find out that the rear brakes were metal on metal and the rear blower unit was in need of replacement. The rear blower unit breaking this early is definitely unfortunate and unforeseen. But the brake pads in the rear being already metal on metal within 2000 miles shows that Auto holdings did not do a complete vehicle check over. We were informed by our mechanic that the front brakes were at about 60% in the rear brakes were both shot. We were also informed that the throttlebody assembly needed maintenance, transmission needed service, and the fuel injection system needed servicing. So two months later and $1500 poorer, we only hope that this is the last hick up for a little while in this vehicle. While I know I shouldve done my due diligence of bringing up mechanic or having this car seen by another mechanic in the area, but we took their word for it and being so far out of the area we went with the sale as is. This will definitely be the last time we purchased a used vehicle that is non-certified. My wife wrote a review about this and was immediately responded by Auto holdings with messages that were less than professional and more like bullying to remove our review. So for Auto holdings, lets advise you of what a review is. A review is our experience with your company and your products. This is our experience, we do not need to contact you prior to writing a review. Now I would imagine if your response was that of being more apologetic for our experience and of wanting to be helpful to us with what we just went through, I would guarantee that that would also be noted and told in our review . Its been a long time since we purchased a used vehicle and this experience solidifies why I will only shop at a factory dealership. Buyer beware, do your due diligence, and best of luck with all your purchases in the future.

Where do I start. First I read some reviews before going so I know there is going to be plate issues. I wish I read all the reviews. The only reason they have one star was because the salesperson Alan was tops. He knows cars and helps you in every way. The down hill part was the loan. I bought a 2013 that had 107k miles on it but as long as it had good upkeep I was fine with it and the price was great. When I sat down with the finance person my rate was a bit higher then what I was expecting but not by much so I agreed to it. The down side was the dealer prep fee of 2k. This was as I was told to get the car into selling shape and checked out. I told them to put the plates back on my trade in and started to walk away. At that point they were wiling to work with me reducing the fee by 500 and giving me and added 500 on my trade in. Still the cost was still right. I brought up the fact that they had bad reviews on getting the car registered and plates and was told this was not a problem. So I take the car home leaving my trade in with the promise I would return with the title which I had to find Driving home I noticed that the driver seat was moving and the visor was falling down I called on Monday as I have a 30 day warranty and told to come in on Saturday to have there person look at it. Now a week into the warranty I bring it in and the person who looks at it is the lot person. I am now told I need to bring it to there mechanic and to call on Monday to make an appointment. Note I have my title but tell them I will give it to them once the car is fixed. I make the appointment for Thursday and it takes 2 hours to fix the seat. In speaking with the mechanic he confirmed that the prep work was not done on the car. And that the back breaks and routers needed to be replaced. I take it to my guy and $350 later it is all working. I am now into the 4th week with a .temp plate so I give them a call and I keep getting the same response. Now I am on my 3rd day of an expired plate and I am calling every day. I cant take my kids to camp and not only will I get a .ticket but they will tow my car. They will send you a useless letter asking for an extension but the police will not take it and they will still tow the car (I called the police o confirm this) My last call was yesterday and was told they will drive to my house today and hand deliver it. Guess who did not deliver it. So not only am I paying for a car that I cant drive I am paying for summer camp that I cant get my kids to. I will need to start calling every day. I hate being this way but what choice do I have

My friend and I brought a 2010 BMW x5 from there in March. Had the worst experience ever. We brought the car on a Saturday and had to return on Monday to get maintenance check that they always do apparently. It took a few days to get it back. A day after we got it back the engine light came on. I immediately called Adam was sold us the car and he told me to speak with Nick the manger. He told us to bring it back and theyd fix it. After a week of calling to see the status of the car they finally answered me and said that the car was fixed. Picked it up and the next day the light came back on. Called again and same thing...bring it in and well fix it. another week and a half goes by with nick giving me the same responses..its getting fixed a couple of more days. final got it back and same thing happened. this time nick told me to take to BMW dealer due to recall. i did just that but bmw said they had no recalls that had to do with my car problem. BMW did a diagnostic scan and told me that it needed about $3400 worth of work. i called nick and he was like no bring back to me ill get it done. i did bring it back to them. now this has been going on for more than a month now. after a fews days nick said they fixed the problem but at the end they didnt AGAIN. I called and called finally getting through again with him and he gave me a place to take the car to. Took it to joel that works with nick at a different location. dropped off the car and it took a week for joel to answer my calls. he said that i needed to nick so i did and now nick is telling me that i had to pay half of the bill in order for joel to fix it. i agreed to pay because i just wanted my car fixed and i wanted to finally enjoy driving it. now its been over two months and after they apparently fixed it and i paid $430 for a part, i drove it for a day then guess what THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME BACK ON!!!!! i called joel and nick and never heard from them again. very professional guys!! i finally took to bmw dealer and paid 4100 to get it fixed and thank god it actually is fixed!!!!!! adam nick and joel should not work in service at all. they are unprofessional and basically liars and thieves. i was going to recommend friends to go there but now i want everyone to know that this dealer is the last place to go to buy a car. unbelievable. worst people Ive dealt with. i hope people see this and not make the mistake i did in trusting them to sell a quality car.
