Ive hit up a few bridal shops lately, running the gambit in presentation, style, expertise, etc. Bridal Garden was an impromptu drive-by. We called them after wed passed them (after two other appointments that morning that were SUCKY) and they happily had us come in, telling us we might have to wait only 30 mins. We went upstairs to check out bridesmaid dresses, and had a ball trying stuff on and talking with Iryna, who was very helpful. Before we even asked her if a dress came in different colors and what those colors would be, she had the swatches waiting on the table for us. Shed been paying attention to what we were pulling and what we were saying, even though we hadnt directly enlisted her help just yet. What service! And their selection of bridesmaid dresses is wonderful! Lots of different colors and styles, all in beautiful quality fabrics that will make any bridesmaid feel absolutely lovely and wonderful. Additionally, when I went down to try on bridal gowns, my attendant, Maryellen, was awesome. She listened to me, brought in things accordingly, and was very helpful in working to stay within my budget (which is rather meager). She also brought in a dress that was nothing like what I had imagined for myself, but she just said "trust me" and I thought "what the hell? If I dont like it, we just set it aside and keep looking". I tried on this beautiful full length sweet-heart neckline lace and silk organza dress and just....cried! It was gorgeous! And so much higher quality, both in materials and construction, than what my budget was getting me at other places. I looked SLAMMIN in it (and Im a bigger girl and admittedly was worried that Id not be able to find something that wasnt just flattering but straight up SEXY and CLASSIC). My attendant had her co-workers come in and check me out in the dress, all of whom were so complimentary and happy to see that one of their dresses had elicited an emotional reaction with me (and Im not so emotional). I think approaching dress shopping with an open mind and easy going attitude is what makes this experience a fun and less stressful one. I cant imagine someone having a terrible experience at Bridal Garden. Its lovely inside, very classy, and the staff is knowledgeable, helpful, communicative and very nice. Im so happy that on a whim we stopped there!

I am not generally someone that reviews places but after my experience at Bridal Garden - I felt an obligation to write reviews on every single place to warn people about the way I was treated here. First and foremost, when I made my appointment I asked the receptionist if they carried a specific dress by Mori Lee. I provided the style number and was informed that they did have it and the receptionist would make a notation on my appointment card. When I arrived my consultant was Diana. When I showed her a picture and style number of the dress she told me that they did not have the dress. She did go out of her way to double check but that was the extent of her effort. After telling her what I DID NOT want in a dress (Drop waist, fit and flare, and lace) and showing her pictures of styles I liked - we went to work. I gave her the budget I was hoping to stay under. I am not going to reveal my budget but I will say that ever single Mori Lee dress is less than that! I was informed that out of 400 dresses there were only about 6 that fell under my budget. Furthermore, Diana put my into lace dresses and drop waist after I VERY specifically said numerous times that was NOT what I wanted. Every time I brought up the style I wanted, Diana told me "in your budget, in your budget". She made me feel guilty for not wanting to spend $5000 on a dress. My maid of honor could see how badly the appointment was going and again showed Diana the dresses/styles I liked. She then made the comment that the one dress was $5600 and I clearly couldnt afford that. At that point I checked out and put on the last dress. A beautiful Paloma Blanco dress. It was exactly what I was looking for EXCEPT it was $1500 over my price range. I said something to her and she said well dont worry about it, we can do something". What they would have done was let me buy the sample dress (which was still even over my budget). Maybe other brides who are not on a budget will like this place because they push the price tag. But Diana didnt make the even special, she pressured me into making a decision, and I left feeling defeated and a terrible person for actually considering spending a ridiculous amount of money on a dress.

I had previously bought a wedding dress from another store (they didnt carry my first choice) but kept thinking about my first choice, which was over my budget. I went to the Bridal Garden because they carried the full line of the designer I loved. So I called and spoke to the receptionist, who was polite. I asked about the designer and she made sure they had the dresses in the store to try on. I must have asked her at least 15 questions, including some pricing (so I could try to figure out a way of getting into my dream dress before walking into the store!) She was a bit reluctant to give me pricing but she must have understood my concern and told me. Im happy she was patient with me. I arrived a few minutes early when I walked in. I was greeted and asked to take a seat until Debbie came for me. When Debbie came out she seemed very sweet. I had to be honest and tell her my story of having a gown and loving another and also my concern with price. She knew it was very possible Id walk out without a dress but she made my experience wonderful! She was GREAT! With my Pinterest in hand I showed her my faves. She never made me feel like I was wasting her time or rushed. She showed me what seemed like the entire collection plus a few other designers. Her opinions were very neutral (no fake "omg you look AMAZING in that dress!" es." She hustled to move unwanted dresses out and bring in others that I may like. She was never pushy in any way. She gave me and my MOH plenty of private time to discuss each dress. I FOUND THE DRESS! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT IN EVERY SINGLE WAY...except for the price. She left the room and came back with a price I couldnt resist - and NO it wasnt a sample or old dress. Its a brand new dress from the new line. I left the Bridal Garden on cloud 9...very satisfied! I knew walking into the Bridal Garden I was over budget...but this is how I see it...sometimes its ok to follow your heart because it is YOUR DAY! Ill be heading back with my bridal party and look forward to working with Debbie again. Ill update my review after my final fittings and alterations.

I had an AMAZING experience at the Bridal Garden. This place was the 2nd bridal boutique I had visited last Saturday and once I found "the one" there, I knew I wouldnt need to go anywhere else. Our consultant Debbie was extremely helpful, nice and did not rush us. She has worked there for 13 years and it def. showed through her professionalism and knowledge of the wedding industry. When I explained to her what I wanted, what I didnt want and what styles I had already ruled out, she knew the exact vision I had in my mind of my perfect dress and hit the nail on the head! Debbie came back with a plethora of beautiful dresses and it was the second one I tried on that ended up being "the one". Debbie still allowed me to try on other dresses just to make sure I was happy with my choice. When I told her one of my best friends bought her dress there, without me even asking, she looked up what dress my friend bought so I wouldnt have to worry about trying on the same dress as her! What a great idea! After reading some of the negative reviews about brides feeling like they were rushed at Bridal Garden, I dont think that is the case at all! I think people are mistaking efficiency with feeling pressured. After I tried on a dress, Debbie would ask me "do you love it?" and when I said no, she would take it right off of me and move on to the next. I mean, honestly, if you dont love the dress right away, why waste time staring at yourself in the mirror for 10 minutes when you could be trying on more dresses? The consultants at Bridal Garden are efficient, they do not rush you. Overall, from the front desk receptionist, to the consultants and excellent customer service, to the vast selection of impeccable dresses, I had the best wedding dress shopping experience of my life at Bridal Garden and will always remember that special moment with my mom, sister, grandmom and godmother when I found my dress. I recommend Bridal Garden to everyone!
