Tobacco Leaf gets five stars from me for a few reasons: the cigar selection, the fun patrons in the lounge area, and the hospitality from management. In a recent trip, I was recommended to try a new Room 101 brand natural cigar. It had an easy draw right from the beginning, which I like, and a rich, spicy flavour. The smoke was a white, thick, palpable and the cigar burned evenly through the end. Id buy again. On any given day, there will be a group of people in the lounge area hanging out and enjoying the simple pleasures in life. The people have always been inclusive and made me feel right at home. As far as management, the owner in particular, Jolly, is always very helpful in making suggestions for cigars and promotes the welcoming, inclusive environment. All in all, this is a great place to have a cigar, hang out for a night, either by yourself or with a group of your friends.

When you step into the tobacco leaf you are immediately greeted by a very friendly manager. He will walk you through the store and ask you what you are looking for in your smoke of choice. The first thing that really stood out to me though was how vast the selection was. I come from NYC and I have been to many a high class cigar store yet I still found myself astounded by the amount of quality cigars I found in the shop. Not only cigars though any of your smoking needs can be met at the tobacco leaf. If you are a lover of hookah there you will find high quality shisha, and coals to meet your needs. There is even a cigar lounge in the back, this store should meet smokers of all forms of tobaccos wants and needs.

I discovered this place with my best friend, greatest discovery ever! When we first walked in, we met Jolly and that was when he introduced us to the smoking room which we like to call "the lounge". Jolly asks what type of cigar you like to smoke and tries to match up for his customer, from my past experience Jolly has been on point. He knows what you smoke as you continue to come in and knows what cigars youll enjoy. Tobacco Leaf is a great place, theres nowhere else I know I can go where I can relax, bring my own beverage, watch some TV, surf the net, enjoy a great conversation with others, and most receive wonderful customer service. Most of all its a great escape from the daily grind.

I went looking at their selection for a La Aroma De Cuba cigar. They only had one box of them, but thats not the issue. The prices were a bit high and the one I bought was not able to be smoked due to cracking and unraveling. I wanted to buy a new cutter also, which of course I bought for $19.95. It was a Vector stainless steel base model. Which I saw for $8.00 at a shop across the Calhoun Street bridge. Not to mention the college kids coming in to buy water pipes and refill screens for their hookahs. Made my experience somewhat awkward. Also I agree the other reviews who say the salesmen are pushy. You bamboozled me out of $12.00, but by doing this you lost my business.

I discovered this place today and was very impressed. I do not smoke cigars, but there was great help and I bought one that smells amazing for my boyfriend. They also sell beautiful glass and hookahs. I fell in love with a glass pipe there and had to get it. Although it was not cheap, it was one of the cleanest smokes I have ever had; worth every penny! I was also excited to see that they sell many different flavors of salvia! I bought some vanilla. I love this place, and I cant wait to take my boyfriend there!

Selection is good, and they are one of a very few places that carry Snus, however that is about the extent of what I like about this place. I never feel comfortable when I have to go to this store. The employees are pushy and try to hustle you into buying something. The prices are expensive, very expensive. They have a credit card minimum (Hear that Visa? They are violating their merchant agreement.) If you can find what your looking at another store I would recommend you avoid this one.

This place is a little bit more expensive than some other tobacco shops around me, it is also a bit further away, but I find myself consistently making the drive and shelling out the extra money to patronize this store. The employees are all very friendly, theyre more than willing to assistance you with any questions you may have, and if that werent enough theyre selection is amazing.

Just walked in and out of this place. Inventory was in, shall we say, "disarray", musty/moldy odors throughout. To those who have recommended this as a pleasant comfortable shop, please please do yourself a solid and look a little harder. Youll be pleased with yourself that you did so.

There are some hidden gems in the selection but the prices are a little high. The worst part is the humidor arrangement. Very disorganized and hard to find what youre looking for. The lounge area is a little grungy and dark. Theres other spots nearby I prefer.

Absolutely no reason to go here. They are a complete rip off and they are awkward sales people. The indian owner tries to push you in to buying stuff but it comes out pathetic, forced, and most of all rude. Save your time and your money and go somewhere else.

they let me in after they closed treated me like i was a king when i was in there. I went in there just to get $2 worth of coal and ended up spending $50 I cant wait til I run out of coals again. Great place, great people

Nice selection but very expensive. Good to sample a cigar before I decide to order myself online for sometimes less than half of their list price. Other than that the service is very good.
