Check very, very carefully how much they are charging you for items at the register. Their labels could be half of what they charge you, and theyd be unapologetic about it. Today I went there to buy a can of greek yogurt clearly labeled as "Greek yogurt, $1.99". At the register, they charge me $4.99, and then unapologetically say that the PLUSs (those teeny tiny numbers on the side of the label) of the label and the product dont match, so there is nothing wrong with the labeling. So they, basically, put a label under a product, clearly, without any ambiguity, indicating that the product costs half the price it is actually selling for. Now I wonder how many times this has happened before when I didnt pay that close of an attention... Oh. And the person I dealt with about this actually REFUSED to provide the full contact information of their manager, only identifying him as "John", even after my repeated requests to provide me with his full name. Some customer service.

While a little bit expensive, this is a convenient place inside the Newport area in Jersey City to pick up groceries and actually has a selection of different kinds of foods that represent the area quite well with its high Indian and Chinese population. Small Deli and bakery inside as well as a selection of meats that actually is generally quite good for even random foods like pig ears and tripe.

Morton Williams is a slightly more upscale grocery store than Shop Rite. Very convenient and enticing if you live in the Newport area. Customer Service is poor and no matter what the sale prices that are in the circular and are advertised in the aisles are never matching up to what the registers say. Its a big headache.

A convenient supermarket if you live in the area and need some grocery items in a hurry. They also have decent gourmet food, a bakery, cheese, and some Asian spice/snack selections here. However, for the price they charge, you have much better alternatives if you walk a bit further north to a different supermarket.

Clean but totally overpriced. Though I buy here cause of convenience ..for real food shopping I go to SHOPRITE a few blocks away (by the way Morton Williams and shoprite are the same company!) Also, the convenience food here is really inconsistent. Sandwiches are ok, chicken wings, rice, etc. Are tasteless.

Once bought packaged cake and when I open it was molded.I realized that it was expired a year ago. Another day I bought a can soup and when I arrived to home realized it was expired too few months ago. Check everything before buying. Manager man is very rude . take your time and walk to target .

I work close so I used to eat dinner there, very good open buffet. The shopping is fun, you can find fresh vegetables and fruits. Wide range of products that you cant find everywhere. Love the cheese section. Yet, I must say that thing are overpriced..

I was impressed because this is one of the few places Ive been to where the bakery goods are good. I dont like the feel of the store though, its kinda rustic, making you feel like the store is low end. Prices are high, but not as high as Manhattan.

I dont know if the grocery store as a whole is any good, but Ive only been here for the deli counter. The service was fine, but the quality of the meat and the condiments was sub par.

I confirm that this particular Morton Williams does not keep fresh produce on its shelves , and the stuff including the manager dont seem to bother. Please see attached picture .

God for people who live across the street. Everyone else should shop somewhere else. Prices are high, quality is okay, I think they change the expiration dates on their meats

This place is good for groceries and indian stuffs. You can get almost all indian spices and some indian sweet as well. You will get indian paneer and desi curd as well

Check expiration dates on what you buy. Also, products here are routinely double the price of the target across the street. Some products do not even have a price.

A bit expensive but has a lot of different choices available for cuisines around the world. The food is generally fresh and the lives are very short.

Great big supermarket. Has a selection of everything. Prices are expensive but expected from a area where people pay for expensive room renting.

A bit pricey when compared to ShopRite but it provides better quality (in terms of freshness) and varieties of fruit/vegetables/cakes.

This market keeps expired products on its shelves for a long time, from rotten vegetables and greens, ice cream to old baked bread.
